This place is cute, the food is tasty, but the service could use some help. ATMOSPHERE: Staff looked busy, saw someone sweeping crumbs and stuff from the floor, there was someone bussing tables. Even looked like the manager was involved in helping. It's small, quaint, with a tv in the staff area (usually showing news or a movie). Our table had a used syrup cup from the previous guests which is weird because the table was empty the whole time I was waiting to be seated - so, plenty of time to clean it (I let it go). The table was filthy, it didn't look dirty but the hubby used a wipe (because he does that - and I'm glad he does) and it turned brown! Yuck (we didn't say anything because we wiped it). My cup had white, crusty something on the rim (ew, decided to ask for a fresh cup - after being ignored for a few minutes the hubby had to take it to them because they were busy talking amongst themselves and didn't notice us, well one person did, then quickly looked away and didn't get anyone else's attention). SERVICE: They ran out of what I ordered and didn't come tell us until the other dishes were cooked and waiting to be served - I told them to skip it because I didn't want anyone else's food to get cold. I want to say, I understand people get tired and maybe they were under staffed (which could explain why the manager was running tables) - that said, they seemed to be too busy talking or on their phones to be bothered with helping us (missing utensils at the table, dirty table and cup, even the wait to be seated wasn't because no one saw us, and they had available tables, it's because the host just wasn't at her post for about 10 minutes - 2 groups left because of the wait). My pet peeve is lack of communication ("hey, you're table needs something" or "they need you over there" or "do you need me to take this one?"). Restaurant staff (front and back of the house) should always be communicating about what they need). Everyone was friendly - these are nice people, but something isn't right if customer service is that bad. The hubby is pretty even tempered and he was so annoyed he said he never...

Yuck, why the heck are people given this place these awesome reviews? the eggs were overcooked way past over medium, The corned beef hash was absolutely gross it looked like cooked dog food with a meat skin, the shredded hash browns were under cooked and ice cold, the pancakes taste a like they were soaked in meat grease because they were cooked on the same grill everything else was cooked on and clearly they never clean the grill. The coffee was so weak I had to add 4 containers of vanilla creamer just to make it have a flavor, and this is a trivial little factoid but I found two containers that were empty inside the creamer cup so clearly nobody checks those either. The upside is the bacon was good? And when I brought it to the servers attention that the food was horrible and told her exactly as I'm explaining here she didn't even bother to let the manager know or bother to take that full plate of food I left on the table off my bill.. I left hungry and had to go home and make my own cup of coffee and a piece of toast so I wouldn't pass out don't waste your money...

We hadn't been here in quite a while. We were greeted upon our arrival by the hostess and seated right away. Our server, Chris, promptly came to offer us a beversge & give us the menus. We decided to order the Ultimate Pancake Combo, which came with a choice of two pancakes, a choice of two eggs, and a choice of side. For this plate, we opted on the pineapple pancakes with over easy eggs, side of bacon, and a side of sausage. The second plate we ordered was the Very Bery Waffle which came with one large waffle topped with sliced strawberries, bluebbies, whipped cream, sprinkled powder sugar, choice of two eggs, and a choice of side. For this plate we decided to order scrambled eggs with a side of bacon. I will tell you I was pleasantly surprised to see that the plate is served with four slices of bacon. Most of the restaurants only serve their breakfast plates with only one or two slices of bacon. Everything was delicious, coffee was nice & hot, the portions were well served, and our waitress Chris was friendly and attentive...

Great dining experience! There were no gimmicks. Just the fundamentals of an excellent meal: great service, clean environment, and yummy food. I had what I will call "Victor's Benedict". When I asked Victor (my waiter) for suggestions, he sounded like a foodie. 👍 One of his suggestions was to order the Veggie Benedict but add ham. He nailed it! Hollandaise sauce, spinach, tomato, caramelized onions, green onions, and that slice of ham on an English muffin. The caramelized onions, saltiness from the ham, the sauce, and the runny yolk work great together. I highly recommend "Victor's Benedict" if you have a chance. There are also the staples of pancakes, omelets, and egg breakfast platters. I will definitely be coming back to try their lunch as well. The staff was on point asking if anything was needed. My coffee mug was hot and full. I was a happy customer. Make sure you ask for a "Victor's Benedict" if you get a tall waiter with a long beard and glasses.

First time trying this place, but definitely not the last. The first thing I noticed is that this place is that the staff is really friendly. I hope they're well-paid There are a handful of other items in the menu I'd still like to try, but this morning I felt like trying to eat healthy (still had to try their short stack, though). The menu is a bit limited for my taste, but I think it works for them because they can make what they have work better to get people coming back for their unique taste. Can't recommend the seasoned home fries (they're not fries) enough if you are a fan of the red potatoes at Luby's. I had the Popeye's Revenge with steamed broccoli (no salt), seasoned home fries and a short stack of buttermilk pancakes with sugar-free syrup.
