The Yard — Restaurant in McAllen

This place is the bees knees and coming from the Pacific Northwest I was so surprised in how clean and organized this place is. My husband and a group of friends had a blast listening to the live music and just enjoying the fun ambiance and tasting the refreshing adult beverages. Not only were the drinks amazing and the price was fair. In the yard you are surrounded by some of the best food trucks in town. We ordered tostadas de ceviche, fried shrimp, and an assortamant of gorditas which made our hearts and bellies shot for joy! I feel after our first experience we definitely will become regulars at the yard because who would want to be surrounded by amazing food and...

I like it..... somewhat different food in an area about the size of 1/2 a footbal field. Several food trucks. 1 serving tacos. The other selling burgers. And the others have an urban modern touch to the food. Large bar in the back and a limitdd selection of drinks. But ut gets the job done. They have mostly all the domestic beers. And the they have different mixed drinks. The environment was pretty comforting and foos was great. Price is about what you would expect at a taqueria.there is also security thats watching over the place. Good musoc also and several tvs. Over all i would go back again and i would recommend other people...

This is a great place to be at Night if you are hungry at 2 in the morning. There are several food truck with a variety of food to choose from. Its an open air concept with a center island bar with mix drink and beer surrounded by metal containers retrofitted architecturally with big windows and glass doors so as to look onto the social garden. We went because they are probably the only place that has Taketo tacos. what are they you ask? Well , they are keto tacos that use cheese in substitute for the corn of flour tortillas. They were great! I recommend them....
