McAlister's Deli — Restaurant in McComb

This was my first time to eat at McAlister’s in McComb. They are brand new and I think this was the first week they were open. I called in an order and went through the drive through to pick up my order. The experience going through the line was really good. I know they were super busy so naturally the call took a couple of minutes, but the pickup was extremely fast for how busy they were. You just drive up to the screen and select your name and click here and then go right to the window and pick up your food. It was a great experience. I got the grilled chicken salad and a loaded spud. Both were really good. The store itself looks very handicap friendly. I am not handicapped but I see handicap parking right in the front door and easy access for a wheelchair to get straight in the front door. Food is consistent with all other McAlister's restaurants, so it's good as expected. My only reason for giving them two stars instead of five was that they would not take a call in order after 9:30, I called at 9:28 and hung up after being told they couldn't take my order at 9:33. Talk about splitting hairs! It's potato soup LoL LoL LoL, only reason I didn't tell the lazy staff to kick rocks was because my wife was giving birth to our first child soon at the hospital near by and that's what she wanted. By far the worst service ever. The so called general manager got an attitude with me about a sandwich that they burned. Also gave me his personal number to send a pic of sandwich as if he didn’t believe what I was saying. I complained that it was burned and turned into a different sandwich than what I ordered. With an attitude, he explained that it the cut is changed if you do not want wheat bread. Change of bread should not change the sandwich. Then he still wanted me to drive all the way back and bring the sandwich after the pic. What’s the point? Customer service is not his skill at all smh. Wish I could...
