A Taste of Heaven Rib Shack — Restaurant in McDonough

I had the two meat two side combo with ribs, rib tips, beans and rice. A house sauce was offered and I asked for that as well. I got mine to go and when I opened the box once I got home i was pleased to see my food was tucked in nicely for the journey.

The box was as stuffed as it could be, including two pieces of white bread on top of everything. I’m no food critic but I can tell you when something is good. This food is amazing, this food… had me leaving work the next day on my lunch break for more. And I’m not kidding either, I had heard when i was there the first time the mac n cheese normally sells out, so when I stopped in for the second time you know that’s what I got. I’ve never experienced mac this way, top notch stuff I ate two whole sides. The sauce… I’m telling you after I finished every bite of meat and sides, i took that bread and mopped up every last drop of the sauce… unbelievably delicious. You have to try this place, the woman taking orders who is also the owner was bright, friendly and happy to serve a traveler some delicious bbq. Thanks again y’all

This place was amazing, very cozy and welcoming. It feels like you’re dining at a family friend’s place. The inside could have been a bit cleaner but it’s definitely comfortable to eat in. The staff were friendly and warm welcoming. I chose a table then went out to my car to grab something, when I came back the food didn’t even take five minutes to arrive. They are definitely quick. The menu isn’t more than twelve options but it’s a strong pick. They do their selection well and everything is excellent! Theres plenty of seating inside and out in the back they smoke their meat fresh. The meat was juicy and tender and you could taste the smokiness upon first bite. All their sauces are home made and pair well with the meats and sides. The owner was there and enthusiastically greeted us. He’s a really nice man and I’m glad to be doing him business. The entire establishment is a 10/10 my family and I are definitely coming back! (Just found out they have a special weekend menus with oxtails, smoked turkey wings, collard greens, and cornbread. OMG! I stumbled upon this place & when I say I am glad I found this place. When I pulled up, there was a house to my right and a food truck to my left. The food truck was a vegan food truck. They had many different options and a line as well. I was welcomed by two beautiful & cheerful ladies who helped me decide what to pick. They also offered me a sample of the rib tips & it definitely was appreciated. I ordered the rib tips & chicken with mac & cheese and baked beans. I also added a sausage. I definitely enjoyed my food and will be returning.
