If I could do a negative star I would. So, long story. On the 14th I order a large pizza special that included a 20 oz. soda along with a cookie. Delivery was fast and delivery driver had a pleasant attitude. Well after she left, I went and looked at the pizza to only notice that it was not the correct order. I order a chicken pizza and it was pepperoni. I looked at the name on the box and saw what happened, there must have been two Ashley's on the delivery and I received the other Ashley's order. No big dea. I immediately called the delivery driver for she had called me earlier to get the gate code (though I had already included the gate code with the order) she apologized profusely and said that she would speak to her manager for she was about to turn into the store. Again..I was never upset...I understand mistakes can happen..its apart of life. The driver called me back about 10 mins later, the solution was that either they would make me the correct pizza and redeliver it that night or they would just credit my account for a free pizza. I chose the credit because it was just the wrong meat...the pizza was fine. So flash foward a few days later..its late and I'm just getting off work. I call to order the free pizza I was promised. The girl that answers the phone says nothing is in the system about it and gets the manger. The manager was so unconcerned and unprofessional. Her response is that she knows nothing about this and that it was the other manager and that "I always put all my credits in at the end of the night". Why do I care about what you do? I just want my pizza. The manager also states the the delivery driver is not there but offers no suggestions. I have to state "well can you not just call them to ask"...with an attitude she finally says ok and that she will call me back. 30 mins later I get a call back and the pizza ordered. I only had to pay the delivery fee and for the 20oz soda. No problem. About 45 mins later I get a knock on my door to a different delivery driver and he is standing there with NO pizza and a 12 OZ SODA. He says "I was going to call you" ( yet he didnt) "but is this all you ordered". Why in the world would I order a 12 OZ SODA to be delivered?!?!?!?!?!?! I tell him that he could keep it and that this is the second time...its not that complicated to get a single simple pizza order correct. Needless to say...I'm sure the manager heard what happen tonight again for the second time, yet I get no phone call or any attempt to correct this unnecessary mess. So unprofessional and unorganized and this particular Papa John's will never get my business nor recommendation again. I will definitely be calling corporate tomorrow and the BBB as...
Read moreWorst experience ever!!!! The day after it snowed on January 6th, my girlfriend and I were hungry so we decided to order Papa John's. I placed the order for one extra large pizza, a large pizza and some cheesy breadsticks. My order came up to $29, and I left a note in the driver comments to please bring change for a $100 bill, because I did not have any money to pay with my credit card. The pizza came, and the driver asked for payment. I gave her $200 bill, and she looks surprised as I pulled it out of my pocket. She told me that she did not have change for a hundred or she at least didn't believe she did, and went through her fanny pack to see if she had change. She told me that she did not have change, and that she was going to have to run back to the store. She advised me to keep the pizzas until she came back, so she took the pieces out of the warmer bag and handed them to me. As I'm eating my meal, I get a call from Papa John's Kama from someone I'm guessing was the shift manager. Her name was Aisha. She notified me that the driver did not have change for a $100 bill, and that they don't usually carry that much cash on him. I told him that I put in the notes that I need to change for a $100 bill, and they should have read the driving instructions. She said one of two things could happen, either I could go get change myself or the driver could come back and get my $100 bill, take it to a convenience store god-knows-where, and bring my change back. I do not know who she thought I was, but I'm not stupid. She ensured me that the driver cool I didn't want to lose her job and it Papa John's was a million dollar company so I should be assured that she would bring my change back. I notify her that I was not comfortable giving a complete stranger might change to bring me back. She said well we could have the police come and escort her to the convenience store. I wasn't going to let that happen either, so she got mad and hung up on me. Very unprofessional to say the least! I called back and asked for her name, and she got back on the phone and told me her name. Long story short, I had exactly $29. That's what the driver got, and no tip. The lesson to be learned is you should never give your customers food if you did not receive payment, and you should train your employees to keep change on them! I will not be eating...
Read more1 star is already too generous for the lack of service that I was put through today. I placed an order at 6:20 pm for $90 worth of pizza and food for the family and friends we had over and was told the eta for delivery was 7:45 pm, which was fine. That was unfortunately where everything stopped. 8 pm rolled around and with no delivery driver I decided to call in to see if I may have given some wrong information or if they were lost/running late. No answer. For the next two and a half hours there was absolutely no answer. Each call was sent straight to hold with no human interaction, even pressing the option to speak to managent was met with the same outcome. I set on hold for around an hour and a half while my wife called periodically to see if they may answer a new call. None. Zero. No calls were answered, I never spoke to anyone to see what was happening. The pizza was never delivered either. The only saving grace was that I decided this time to pay in cash instead of paying up front via card. If I didn't I would have been out $90 and no food. We eventually had to send our guests and their kids home hungry.
This is absolutely ridiculous and the worst service possible. DO NOT order food here. If you do make sure to pay upon delivery, because they very well could take your money and leave you with nothing.
Do yourself a favor and get Pizza Hut or Domino's or branch out and get Marco's or American Pie. Heck even grab a Digornos and pop it in the oven because at the end of the day having anything to eat is better then being left with absolutely nothing like...
