I stopped in today to order take-out and had a bad experience. The waitress asked if we wanted to dine in and I said no, I'm here for carryout. She pointed at the register where an employee was checking someone out. I reached for a menu and proceeded to sit at the nearest table to checkout the menu. The waitress came over immediately, spoke to me in Spanish in a rushed and rude tone saying minimal words asking if it's to dine in or to go, I replied it was to go in English. She didn't take the time to listen to my response as I was trying to tell her that I speak English and kept repeating in Spanish dine in or to go. She came off very rude as she signaled me to get off the table and to stand up. I felt unwelcomed. I asked the cashier what she would recommend for spicy dumplings and she recommended the peppercorn spicy soup dumplings. For me, it fell a little short for what I was looking for; I would have liked a chili dipping oil, but the dipping sauce was bland. I also ordered the yibin spicy dry noodles with pork and again I didn't like them, there was no spice; I couldn't finish the noodles as it fell short yet again.
I wanted to like this establishment as I have family that live nearby and I could easily walk here on my weekly visit, but due to the poor customer service, this is a hard...

Yu Noodles gives off major “aunty and uncle’s kitchen” vibes cozy, welcoming, and serving up dishes fresh and steaming hot. 🔥🍲 We ordered a little bit of everything, and most of it hit the spot!
But let’s talk about the duck. 🦆 It was giving more bone than meat, like it skipped leg day… every day. A little too tiny to fully enjoy, but hey, not every dish can be a star. The dumplings? Solid effort tasty but not quite the #1 contender in my dumpling hall of fame. 🥟✨
The location is nice, the restrooms are squeaky clean (always a win!), but if you’re specifically on the hunt for top-tier dumpling soup in the area, this might not be your go-to. Still, it’s worth a visit if you’re in the mood for a warm, comforting meal and some low-key vibes. Would I come back? Sure but I’m leaving the duck behind...
Read moreTraveling from another state. First time in this restaurant because the reviews are good. BUT!!!! Is asking for tips a normal thing now? Service and food is fine. The dumplings (xiao long bao) wrapper is quite dry and no soup inside. Others are alright. So the lady server gave us a wrong order at the beginning. We were not aware and took a bite of the food, and she asked if we can add this to our order. We know if we don’t accept she might get into trouble, so we accepted it and ended up paying one more dish. Not wanting to waste food, we did struggle to finish all since we traveled from another state and we couldn’t to go food. I was a bit upset with paying extra one more dish which we don’t really like to eat, so we decided to give 10% tip. She then requested for 18% and stating it’s the minimum. It’s rude and we...
