I usually never give less than 3 stars, even when itâs bad, but this place made me do it. Very long review ahead. Where do I start? I tried the restaurant + drinks a first time and I wasnât impressed at all - when you charge 24 dollars for a big chunk of iceberg submerged in dressing next to a tiny piece of meat. Nevertheless, I wanted to give this place a second chance, which led to a bigger disappointment. The poke had 2 pieces of tuna that were also submerged in dressing. And I got overcharged for the alcohol. I explained the situation - the manager who tried to put on his apologetic look (but he didnât actually care at all)- didnât do anything about it and had a very condescending approach (he wasnât gonna do anything about it from the start apparently). Even 1 star is too much for this place. The first of many if the service + the food continues to be this bad. I talked with another manager the next day because my room was also charged for a meal I didnât buy - he cleared it up and also rectified the price of the drink. Still a very bad...
Read moreThis restaurant serves fresh delicious food. The service is really great, waiters are very friendly. Our party of four all enjoyed their breakfasts... and dinners, yes!breakfast was so delicious that we returned for dinner the same day. Their pricing also is very decent. The crab cake eggs Benedict was sooo delicious, a must try. As a refreshing change to the usual breakfast menu they offer several healthy breakfast options. For dinner, we had the Cajun pasta, akb burger, and Ceasar by the campfire with shrimp and they were all very very good. they serve really nicely sized portions and an original and delicious menu. So many more tasty sounding meals to choose from. Nice ambiance as well.. it's not often we get to have such an enjoyable...
Read moreWe ordered 3 plates to share. The first was the calamari, it was a bit rubbery and the breading was falling off. It was not flash fried, and the portion was a little small. The second dish was the Farmers raid. Basically a hummus platter, but the veggies were grilled. When you order grilled vegetables, you expect them to be hot. They were cold, it was odd. It was decent. Maybe this was our fault, but the Ceasar rotisserie pizza sounded like it would be great. I have to search my memory to remember eating a pizza worse than this. Imagine tuna casserole on cheap dough with a pile of chopped lettuce and a balsamic dizzle. In hindsight it shouldn't have been good. Please be warned it wasn't. Service was avg. This cool hotel...
