Normally my Dominos is great. There is this one guy, I think his name is Jeff? who is ALWAYS working and is actually a delight in terms of customer service. For quite some time now I haven't been able to order by phone, it just rings nonstop so I've been ordering online. Whole different experience. While the website is super simple to navigate, almost all of my orders have shown up either righteously messed up or missing things like extra sauce. I've tried to call about this, the phone just rings of the hook. The first major time this happened our pasta bowls all came with Alfredo sauce, which we can't eat. After calling 15 times in an hour (well after peak times) AND trying to rectify the situation via the website to no avail (it wanted me to pay all over again) we finally threw all the pasta bowls in the trash and made grilled cheese and soup for dinner. I learned the hard way, when you opt out of pizza points in lieu of trying to have your food replaced, if nobody picks up the phone, your pizza points are toast. Almost every time I've ordered extra sauce or drinks through the app, they're missing. And it's not something I notice right away because of contactless delivery. The drivers are gone before I scan through the goods. The thing is, our drivers have been here a while now and our regulars all wonderful too. Never had a problem with this store before I started ordering online. Why doesn't the phone work? Where is my Jeff? I'd like his soothing customer service voice in my ear again assuring me he's got a handle on all my family's...
Read moreJust had an order delivered that was lukewarm at best. Based on the tracker when Matthew picked up my order, the estimated time was 4:52 (the pickup notification was at 4:42). It driver took 30 minutes to deliver. Based on the app, he took 5 minutes in the parking lot after notification that he was on the way.
His first delivery, he stayed there for another 15 minutes or so before coming to my house to deliver, and passed my neighborhood before coming back.
August 8 update - Had this one resolve but had another issue last week.
Ordered a couple pizzas on the 1st. At 5:48 I was notified through the app that Matthew (same driver as before) was on his way. Per the app, it took him a few minutes to leave the parking lot. Then he was at the light (less than 1/4 of a mile away from the location) for 7 minutes. From there to my house, it took close to 10 minutes.
I google mapped the traffic conditions as I was waiting and saw he was at the light for awhile. From the Domino's location to my house at the time was 10 minutes. All green roads, no backups or slowdown. He took close to 20.
He also may have brought the pizzas up from his car in a warming bag, but the pizzas weren't warm. Either there was a delay at the location and they sat for a bit before being put into the warming bag, or Matthew drove 20 minutes with them not in the warming bag and only put them in after he arrived to my house.
Considering all other deliveries here that weren't done by him had reasonably warm/hot food delivered within a reasonable time, the issue is...
Read moreThe pizza is great when you can order it and receive it on time. The past couple times we've ordered there has been at least a 45 minute delay AFTER their app says your pizza is ready for pickup. Then when you pull up to domino they ask you to sit and wait until they cook your pizza even though it was supposedly already ready for pickup. I had to cancel my order on one of the occasions because I couldn't sit and wait any longer it was so ridiculous. Weird thing was, there were many workers, almost looked like there was too many! So how do they not have enough hands on deck to keep the orders going out on time? When we ordered there wasn't an obscene line of people or anything either, idk, we're pretty limited on food choices in our town but we still aren't desperate enough to keep being...
