We sat in the cold for over 2 hours... and it wasnât even a busy night. Not worth it. We arrived and checked in at around 8:30 and were still waiting at closing time. Update: It took no time to go through. Donât know why the wait was so long. We came out of the first room to wait even longer. There was MAYBE 5 actors. Walking through the Walmart parking lot at night is scarier than this âhaunted attractionâ.
In response to the reply:
If you donât think the wait never exceeded an hour you can ask everyone in line that night. I even have time stamps from pictures and videos I took last night while in line. Iâm sure you can check the time we checked in. We checked in at around 8:30 and finally was able go through the haunted at 11:30 or 12. So the over two hours was actually an understatement. After already waiting two hours we did not feel the need to spend extra money on a fast past. We did not want to spend more money on a business like this. We actually complained while waiting in line. The outside workers (which includes a âsecurity guardâ, a ticket lady, and a lady controlling who goes in) didnât even seem to know what they were doing. We complained to the âsecurity guardâ who told us to complain to the ticket lady. Well when we went to the ticket lady she said complain to the âsecurity guardâ. I put quotations because the so called âsecurity guardâ was a joke. People were actually getting out of line to purchase a fast past so they did not have to wait even more. Even the people with fast passes had to wait a while. Itâs crazy how you have 25 actors in your haunted houses, yet none of them seemed to be working. It was 99% automatic props (which the people in our group got hit by multiple times in the eye, chest, and other areas. No it was not our fault. We were cautious. After they jumped out, we walked by then were hit.) There was not even 5 actors in the first room. If there was then I guess they werenât doing their job because somehow no one saw them. In the second room there was probably 5 actors, who were also rude. I DO NOT recommend ANY rigor mortis place. They canât even spell your name right when they reply. Please do not waste your money and time with them. The wait is not worth the 15 minutes of...
Read moreI had such a spectacular spooky time going through this attraction!
First things first, the facade on the front entrance of Rigor Mortis is gorgeous! I love the the whole vibe and the creepy vintage magic show atmosphere that follows through many of the beautifully executed scenes in the house. It was extremely well done with amazing set design and detailing (really quite superb), costuming, and lots of really, really cool animatronics that all seemed to work perfectly. There were more than a few solid jump scares -- including one in particular that was a total freaking curve ball and nearly gave me a heart attack (in the best way possible) -- along with some other effects and original surprises that were pleasantly shocking that I've not seen in other haunted attractions and I never would have guessed or would have seen coming.
Overall, a really great haunt that more than exceeded my expectations!
P.S. On my way out through the gift shop, I saw a beautiful little stage and seating area that I learned is reserved for magic shows that they do at Rigor Mortis through December, and I thought that was pretty neat, although I didn't have the opportunity to check out a show myself as it was late on a Thursday night when I visited, but the stage and everything...
Read moreWe visited for the magic show and waited for the haunted house to open. Haunted houses are not my thing, but my husband and son loved it. We travel 2 1/2 hours one way to visit the show and haunted attraction. The look on my sonâs face was priceless when I said hey you want to go back through itâŚ.lol. Real quick he said no I am good. However he is already planning another trip with a friend maybe two. Give the haunted house a chance of you are looking to get scared or escape every day stress with the Magic of Jordan Winton. Just remember everyone experiences things differently. I definitely give the haunted house 5 stars because I could only make it through 2 room before walking out. I do know if the lines are long the wait can be outdoors so grab a jacket just in case because itâs fall. My son got coldâŚthis time he listened and brought something! The closer you wait to Halloween I am sure the wait can be longer as with any other haunted attraction. The pricing I feel is fair, because you are supporting a small business! I firmly believe crew tries to give the best experience possible! We...
