Fiesta Ranchera — Restaurant in McMinnville

Asked for tequila list. Only got two options..."silver and 1800" No problem. We ordered two tequila and Sprites. Server returned with two tequila and cokes and looked irritated and said, "Oh God" before taking the drinks when we told him thays not what we ordered. (not sure if he was frustrated with us or the bartender). We tried ordering beer the second round. I ordered a draft and my friend tried to order and different kind of beer and got told no, no (even though it was on the menu and in stock)...so she just had what I had. Cool, cool. I then ordered a combo with a chile relleno, which is what I order regularly from Mexican restaurants all of the time. The plate came out and the Chile relleno was...not a Chile. No Chile. Just a mound of shredded beef topped with melted queso and american cheese. We were told that it was "their take" on the menu item by a different staff member. Overall, I just felt like the food was less than mediocre and the service felt uncomfortable. The server seemed annoyed and unknowledgeable about the menu...and very rushed. I'm not sure that we...

Great food, great service and great prices. What more could you ask for? Oh yeah, let me tell you about the lemonade---absolutely FANTASTIC!! It's no wonder they have been voted the number one Mexican restaurant in McMinnville, TN. They deserve it. The competition is tough too, with this little town having several other options in Mexican fare. For two adults to eat, with each getting a non-alcoholic drink, along with a nice tip, the bill was still under thirty bucks. That's totally unheard of these days. You can barely eat at Taco Bell for that much! The restaurant is clean, well kept and has a very welcoming atmosphere on top of everything else I've mentioned. You can't go wrong eating here. It's located inside the plaza which sits behind the Walgreens on the corner of Smithville Highway and Highway 70, kitty corner and across the main road from Waffle House. We both had plenty of leftovers to eat to boot and we will definitely be going back very soon. There IS another restaurant with the same name in McMinnville but I personally like this...

Absolutely very disappointing. I came in 2 days ago with my dad and ordered 2 carne asadas and a taco salad. Went home and noticed it was very hard to chew my carne asada tacos. Felt sick 2 hours and throughout the next 2 days I couldn’t digest anything in. Food poisoning. Now mix food poisoning with a heart condition. Both me and my dad have a heart condition. That following day he LITTERALY had to ask me to take him to the hospital if he doesn’t wake up. My heart felt like it was gonna stop. We dont even have health insurance. I went here because I expected 4.3 stars. I must have gotten a horrible batch. Went in 2 days later when I was well enough and spoke to the manager. Told me it wasn’t their fault and that nobody had complaints. Proceeds to tell me they could remake my order, but not offer a refund. I told him “Are you serious? I can barely stand right now, my heart is bad.” I refused his offer and handed him my old food and left. I didn’t even get an apology from this restaurant. Not...
