I walk using a walker and when it comes to a bunisses door or doors its the first thing I notice. EL Primnos had two doors to go through before you get into their restaurant and both of them were heavy to open. I can't imagine how hard it must be for a person in a wheelchair to get into the place without help. So, EL Primo Mexican restaurant is not a handicap friendly place to go. Once i got into the building I was greeted right away by a lady who said "hi welcome to EL Primo' s " and I said hi back. She asked if i would like a table or a booth and i said a booth some where my walker won't be in the way. So, she seated me back in a corner booth where my walker would be out of the way. She gave me a menu and came back with some chips and salsa. I looked over the menu and decided the tamales with beans and rice sounded good so when the waitress came back to my table I orded the tamales . The waitress asked if i would like anything to drink and I said water was fine. So, she went and brought back the water I said thank you and she said I was welcome . She asked if I knew what I wanted and I ordered the tamales. The waitress was very polite and before to long she was bringing me my food and she said to be careful the plate was hot . I smiled and said ok and thank you. I let my food cool down a bit while I read the book I brought with me. When the food was cool enough for me to eat I dove right in and before I knew it my plate was clean . I guess I was hunger than I thought I was ! And the food was good. If you are in the mood for Mexican food I would recommend EL Primo's as a place to get not only good Mexican food but excellent...
Read moreNormally when I come in here and treated with respect and I've never had a problem but yesterday I went in to go get a Burrito Loco with ground beef AND it had absolutely NO beef in it all. it was ONLY beans and rice, the other hundred times that I've been in here it's been wonderful so I'm not basing my whole experiences on this one BAD experience and I still given a five-star however the older woman that came behind the register I think she might be the owner/manager, was a little rude I tried making small talk with her and she just handed me my receipt and under her breath said mmmh mmmh she didn't even acknowledge me I felt like I was ignored and pushed out the door quickly and it wasn't even busy I understand we all have bad days but it seems like this lady might need some education on customer service and how to treat people without making them feel belittled after all you thrived because of your customers some treat them with respect and be kind to them they will put the word out about your restaurant and your business will...
Read moreOur recent visit to El Primo Restaurant was a very enjoyable dining experience. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed with the quality of the service. We came in as a very large party of ten, which can often present challenges for both staff and guests, but the team at El Primo handled it with professionalism and warmth. The servers were consistently attentive, checking in on us frequently, refilling drinks, and making sure every single person at the table felt taken care of.
The food itself was also a standout. The portions were extraordinarily large, far exceeding what I’ve come to expect at other Mexican restaurants. Not only were the servings generous, but the quality of the dishes was excellent. Everything we ordered came out fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared.
Between the attentive service, the impressive portion sizes, and the very good food, El Primo provided a memorable experience for our entire group. We left satisfied, happy, and looking forward to...
