Jacob Williams Winery — Attraction in McMinnville

I have visited Jacob Williams Winery in McMinnville a few times now, and I'm hesitant to put a review in because last time it was so busy there was no where to sit! LOL :-) Seriously though, they have a wonderful selection of wines including bolder reds which is great to have an option of something besides all Pinot Noir's. The staff is great, very knowledgeable. Lovely, comfortable tasting room with very affordable snacks which I love! Just enough to tide you over. The wines are delightful. Didn't try any I didn't like, and great prices so you can take quite a few home! I love that it doesn't break the bank! Truly a lovely fresh spot for wine...

My husband and I had heard of a new tasting room in McMinnville and wanted to visit it on our trip to the coast. We have enjoyed the Jacob Williams wines so excited to go to this new location. We were greeted by Shantel who was the manager. She was attentive to our needs and knowledgeable of the wines. The atmosphere was casual with modern crisp and clean lines. Jacob Williams on 3rd street in McMinnville! Wow! Dreaming about that Merlot, the Cabernet Franc and Sadie Red! Delightful wines, layered flavors, a great experience from the nose to the finish! The Viognier was a favorite too. Small Bites- great appetizer offering! Comfortable tasting room, attentive and knowledgable service. Free tasting with purchases- great prices for these Columbia Valley wines. ...
