Very disappointing experience at Baker St Cafe. We ordered chicken pad Thai and basil fried rice with chicken, along with two Thai iced tea, which ended up being $45 not including tip.

Wait time for food was 30 minutes. Food quality was very poor. The peas appeared to have been previously dried and were not properly reconstituted, and the chicken also seemed dry and premade (perhaps frozen previously cooked chicken?). The fried rice was mushy and flavorless. The pad Thai was covered in an overly sweet sauce. Absolutely not worth the $16+ per entree. I thought the Thai iced tea was ok but I doubt it was anything but a premade powder.

We went on a Sunday afternoon and two children (around ages 9 or 10 years old) were helping take orders and performing tasks in the back room. These children are far too young to be spending a Sunday afternoon, during a winter school break, working at a restaurant.

We will not be supporting this business again for ethical and food...

This is the cutest little cafe in the whole wide world! They serve the best most fresh Thai food, and it is home cooked and absolutely delicious. I continue to come back to this little cafe because of the wonderful service and cute kids that served us the first time. They're pineapple fried rice is amazing, the steak and sticky rice is equally phenomenal and as well as their chicken soup and I am going to go back as many times it takes to try everything on the menu! The family that owns the Baker Street Cafe is lovely and every interaction that we've had is amazing! The pricing is stellar and the place is just adorable and warm from the moment you walk in. They have amazing customer service and the most delicious food in town! I cannot recommend them enough but if you are looking for a fresh meal that makes you feel like your home, then the Baker Street Cafe is a place you have to go! I am such...

My husband and I visited McMinnville for the first time yesterday and I was really hungry when we arrived. I found this delightful cafe when I searched for best food in McMinnville, and it did not disappoint. We were greeted by one of the owners“ sons (they have a second one who is also working there). It seriously was the best, and most charming, customer service I have had in a long time! I told the boys later that I totally would hire them--they knew the menu inside and out, knew what questions to ask, and were so friendly and polite. Their parents are teaching them very well--and they looked like they were having fun as well. The food was delicious--we had taro and strawberry milk teas, potstickers, yellow curry (on recommendation from the son), and noodles in Thai peanut sauce. So yummy! We will definitely be back again and will tell our friends. Keep up...

Such a great spot. Best Pad Thai, hands down. Let alone the best Boba tea I’ve ever had. They make their own boba pearls, and it’s incredible. My mom who can’t stand boba tea even thought they tasted amazing. She still gets her London Fog without the pearls, but it’s impressive that a non boba lover liked them! Also wow, the London Fog, my word, way to level up Boba! The owners are so wonderful and deliver great customer service and make all the food and drinks themselves. Also the pastries. WOW, just yum. šŸ§‹ šŸœ 🄐 Give me all the things! Unfortunately it’s so good we drink and eat it too quick. So you only get to see the happy aftermath. Better shots next time!

Been waiting ever since this building sold to see what would go in there! The new owners totally nailed the vibe down for McMinnville with this place! Never had an iced chai before and holy cow that lady makes a good one! She’s got her two young son’s working there too which is SO great for an upcoming generation to have that type of raising under their belt! The service was wonderful! But I would love to see those kids learn to count back change as they learn more about business! Koodos to mom and dad! I’ll be your returning customer every weekend 🤩
