Stopped here on the way home from the beach. Lots of kids swarming here during off campus lunch, but the wait wasn't too bad. The food was some of the best I've had. I had the torta carnitas and it was delicious and gigantic. I'm a big guy, but that thing filled me up pretty good. I got the corn too and that was also fantastic. My buddy got the gorditas carnitas and he said it was one of the best he's had, even comparing to homemade. The bread was perfectly made, a fried crisp to it and a nice soft inside.

Today was not that! Super runny beans. Not blended but watery. Rice was good. The Sope had old pork and I am so very sad about that. Iteans our community is not supporting this place and they have to reuse older cooked meat. The corn was frozen and not drained well. We are in the middle of corn season. Read moreNothing great. Food was okay. Rice was dry and clearly from the day before. Beans watery and lacked salt. They literally give you about 1/4 cup of rice and beans on a combo plate. I Ordered two different gorditas, and just got some grayish chewy meat that I guess was asada. The actual Gordita shell was tasty and hot but for a Gordita lover, I wasn’t impressed. There’s so much competition in the immediate area, I’m bummed I picked this place for lunch. I will give them ⭐️ on their red salsa. And a 👎🏼 for the yellowish tomatillo salsa....
