McDonald's — Restaurant in McMinnville

Whenever I come here the food is good. Last time I came here I just ordered a "DOUBLE CHEESEBURGER" and got charged for a double cheeseburger but as I went to leave the drive thru to head out on my adventure to the coast for a day of fishing as I waited to exit the drive thru back into traffic I unwrapped the burger and took a bite and it seemed like it was all bread. Which is pretty funny because my wife didn't even want to stop but I was like "I'm starving I'll just grab a double cheeseburger real quick because they are always fresh and delicious here at this location!" So I look in the burger and there is one patty and it looked like a thin one and only half, like half broke off or someone ate half so I go back thru the drive thru and the manager is at the first window so I explained to her and she said "no biggy! And you can just eat the other one you already have! Just pull to the last window they are expecting you!" So I pull to the second window and the girl goes to hand me the double cheeseburger but then she pulled it away back in the window and goes "wait! You have to give me the other burger back!" I am already eating it since the MANAGER said "just eat it" now there is about two bites left and I say "there's barely any left because the manager said JUST EAT IT!" She argued with me and said "I can't give you the double cheeseburger until you give me back the other burger!" So I said "okay, let me repeat myself, I already ate almost all of the burger except for two bites because the manager back at the first window told me "I will have them make you a double cheeseburger, just eat it! But now you want it back? What will you do with it when I give it back ?" She said "throw it away because we are not allowed to take food back from customers!!!!" 🤣🤣🤣 I said "can you please do me a favor, can you ask the manager at the first window what she told me?" So she asks and gets told the same thing I already told her like ten times, and she goes "well I guess since you already ate most of it I CAN LET YOU HAVE IT!" 🤓 I should have said "naw, I don't even want it anymore, here you go" and gave her back the last bite, but instead I had to beg for my double cheeseburger so I could get to fishing....🤣😂😂 My wife goes "is it still a good burger?" I unwrapped the double, took a big bite and said "yeah.... It's just something about the way they saute them onions, I'll be back next fishing trip...."...

If your order is more complicated than one standard set meal, go elsewhere. They’ve messed up the meals to the point that I’ve lost over $20 on missing food over the past few months. Today alone, I received food that was worth at least $6.44 less than what I paid for. I ordered the medium grimace meal (for the shake) and a burger meal, PAID FOR THEM, then was informed at the pickup window that they didn’t actually have the grimace shake (even though that was what made the meal so expensive). I got a large icee instead, but the same meal would have cost $3.74 less had I ordered the same chicken nugget meal with icee off the menu. That in and of itself was frustrating, since I couldn’t get a refund even though I KNEW I was getting gypped, but then I got home and saw that they had replaced the burger with something so wrong it was laughable. (The burger they gave me was, at best, an alternative that was $2.70 cheaper.) On top of the missing items, wrong order, and under filled fries and drinks the past few months (with no offers to make things right), I think this was the last straw for this location. I’ve got a million points in the app, so I’ll be back to redeem those, but I’m not going to pay for anything here going forward. I’ve lost...

Folks, if you are in Newport and looking for cheap grub - hit a food cart!!! The 101 in Newport has two KILLER hamburger stops. The newly opened Burger 101 and (my personal favorite) Left Coast Burger across the street on the east side of the 101.

This is a confirmed fact. While in McMinnville Or a couple of weeks ago, I found the McDonald's buy one for $2.22 get another for $1. I thought I would go through the drive through in Newport about a week ago and what cost me less than $15 in McMinnville was over $35 in Newport.

I called the McMinnville MacDonalds and spoke with a manager. She told me each location is privately owned and set their own prices.

The McDonald's in Newport DOES NOT disclose their prices online or on their menu boards outside.

BUYER BEWARE OF THE NEWPORT MCDONALD'S!!!

They will bleed you dry and the food sucks! The newly refurbished Burger King across the road on the west side isn't much better.

If you want a lot of food for a little scratch - refer to my earlier suggestions! The triple with fries at Left Coast Burger cart (red on the east side of the road) is a gut buster!

But they won't clear out your wallet, so you can have more fun on the beautiful Oregon...
