Ming's Buffet & Grill — Restaurant in McMinnville

My family and I went tonight because my daughter asked to go. They had tomatoes on the bar that tasted like pine sol. I told the lady at the front counter so they could be removed. I only ate a little off that one plate of noodles with tomatoes and mushroom and shrimp before it made me sick. I told the lady I would not pay for my ruined plate but I would pay for the rest of my family since they didn't eat the ruined food. She said she would call the cops on me. I told her to go ahead I would wait for them to arrive. Then she said fine I'll take it off but you are no longer welcome here. Before I got to my car I threw up in the parking lot and had to stop on the side of the road on my drive home to puke. This place has went majorly down hill. This isn't the first time we've eaten there and been less than happy. But this is the first time they have given me food poison and then threatened to call the cops on me. Food is good over the phone customer service is horrible. Called an order in woman put me on hold and then proceeded to carry on a conversation with her friend in Chinese while I was holding. Apparently she just set me down on the counter. I could hear her laughing and talking and this went on for 10 min! Finally I hung up and tried back only to get a busy signal for 45 minutes. Finally it rang through and the same woman answered laughing and was like so sorry so sorry. I told her I wanted to speak to a manager and she got mad REAL fast yelled at me told me she was the manager and I "no complain everything fine." I could not get her to let me talk to someone else and then she hung up on me. The next day I went to the restaurant and asked to speak to a manager and he wouldn't even come out of the back to talk to me. I waited 15 minutes and he still refused so I left my number with the hostess and he never called me back. I have never had customer service that bad...

I understand inflation is hitting everybody hard. That said, the food quality is now so low that with both of us barely eating, my housemate and I are now sick. I don't usually leave negative reviews for food places, but $30 to put two people (who ate completely different menu items by the way) in agonizing pain? Re-examine your business practices. Food should not feel or taste like EXTRA grease was added afterwards, and sushi should not be left sitting out long enough for the rice to start HARDENING. I shudder to think what would be happening to me right now if I'd eaten the sushi that appeared to have raw fish. (I say "appeared to" to give maximum benefit of the doubt, since leaving raw fish out that long for someone to consume would possibly constitute criminal liability.) Not to mention the "fun" we found in the egg drop soup. A disgusting grey lump where the egg was so overcooked, I was briefly worried someone had dropped fresh oyster...
