This place just became my Karhai Point!
I don’t usually leave long reviews, but this experience absolutely deserves one.
From the moment I walked into Karhai Point, I knew this was going to be something special. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and full of that authentic desi charm — a solid 10/10 on ambiance. You feel like you’re about to eat something prepared with love, tradition, and flavor, and they delivered exactly that.
Now let’s talk about the food – wow. I ordered their Seekh Kabab, Signature Karhai, and Lahori Fish – and every single dish was a hit. • The Seekh Kababs were juicy, smoky, and perfectly seasoned. • The Signature Karhai lived up to its name – full of bold flavor, just the right amount of spice, and cooked to perfection. • And that Lahori Fish? Crispy on the outside, flaky on the inside – absolutely spot on.
But here’s the real kicker: the owner personally came over and offered me a free dish – their famous Reshmi Handi. I was blown away by the hospitality and generosity. The Reshmi Handi was creamy, flavorful, and honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. It made the whole experience feel even more personal and memorable.
The staff was very polite and attentive, making sure everything was perfect. The service was smooth and made me feel like a valued guest rather than just another customer.
I also had the chance to meet the owner – such a humble and genuine guy. May Allah bless him and give barkah in his business. You can feel the passion he has for great food and great service, and it shows.
All in all – Food: 10/10 | Atmosphere: 10/10 | Staff: 10/10 | Hospitality: 100/10 I’m not just a customer anymore – this is my Karhai Point from now on. Can’t wait to go back with friends and family. Highly recommend to anyone craving real, authentic Pakistani...
Read moreA Special Celebration at Karai Point – A Memorable Evening for My Wife’s 75th We recently celebrated a very special milestone—my wife’s 75th birthday—and our children chose a newly opened restaurant, Karai Point, to host the occasion. Opened just this April, I’ll admit I was a bit skeptical at first. New places sometimes need time to find their rhythm. But I’m happy to say, Karai Point exceeded our expectations in almost every way. From the moment we walked in, the service was warm and attentive. The staff made us feel welcome and cared for, which made the evening even more meaningful. They even ensured the kids’ meals came out first, just as we had requested—a small detail, but much appreciated. Now, the food—absolutely outstanding. We had Malai Boti Kabob, Fish Lahori, Chicken Biryani, Goat Karai, Garlic Naan, and Sweet Lassi. Every dish was cooked with care, beautifully spiced—not too overpowering, just perfectly balanced. You could tell the chefs put thought into each preparation. The Goat Karai was tender and rich, the Malai Boti melted in the mouth, and the Fish Lahori had that unmistakable burst of flavor without being too oily. Even the Garlic Naan was crisp yet soft, just the way we like it. If I had one small complaint, it would be the air conditioning—it wasn’t working that evening, and in Texas, that’s hard to ignore. But given everything else, we were willing to overlook that. I’m sure it’s a temporary glitch that they’ll fix soon. In all, Karai Point turned out to be the perfect spot for a celebration that meant a lot to our family. We left with full stomachs and happy hearts. We’ll definitely be back—and next time, with even more friends and...
Read moreIt’s hard not to compare to Aga’s when they opened literally 2 mins away from Aga’s. Here are my reasons for giving it 3 stars only:
Ordered their signature Karahi for $24, whereas Aga’s is $16 same size and tastes a lot better than Karahi points. You cannot call yourself a Karahi restaurant when you can’t even outdo Aga’s Karahis which costs like 40% less are are much better in taste. Simply disappointing!
Ordered their chicken Biryani for $15 small portion, only 1 half aloo for every order (I asked) and nothing too special whereas Aga’s biryani is also $15 but twice as big and more flavorful.
Ordered chicken seekh kebab for $15 whereas Aga’s is $11 and tastes much better. Karahi points seekh was lacking serious flavor, only eating with chutneys made it better.
For drink ordered 1 mango mojito for $8 whereas Aga’s is $5 and bigger in size.
Ordered appetizer Gol gape for $8 for 6-7 pieces which disappears in 30 seconds.
Ordered 2 butter naans which got hard in 5mins whereas Aga’s naans remain fresh and super soft throughout.
Overall the aesthetic was great but the value for money and taste is aloooot better at Aga’s. This is a normal option if you don’t care about spending 40-50% and are hungry and Aga’s have long wait. Otherwise nothing too special food wise!
Hope they take this feedback seriously and dramatically reduce their prices to match up with other options around otherwise once the hype dies down, consumers will not be flocking here much. We certainly cannot afford to bring a family of 5+ here. Average consumer is very smart these days. Please don’t underestimate them with your...
