I had so much fun here as a first time rug tufter! The instructors were kind and took their time guiding us to a design that would yield the best results for a beginner. I do recommend bringing in pictures/designs that would fit well within a square (rather than a rectangle--if the image is too wide you lose valuable space). The workshop was 3 hours and they provide all the materials, then teach you how to use them. I'll be back again!

We went here for my Birthday and I just wanted to let everyone know the textured painting IS NOT PAINT AND SIP. There are NO STENCILS, NO ICE FOR YOUR BYOB, the instructor WILL NOT help you with color or even design. You will pick a design from there website which your ENTIRE PARTY has to do. Also don't expect the instructor to even stay on the room after giving instructions. I felt like the only reason she stayed at the end was because they had another party booked and needed us to hurry up and leave. They didnt even turn on the lights so we could pay comfortablely in the lobby. I'm sure this place is great for tufting but as far as textured painting find somewhere else because THIS ISN'T...

What an AMAZING experience. So fulfilling and so rewarding. During my visit to Houston, I took up a rug tufting workshop here with my best friend and thanks to 528 Entertainment, we have memories we will cherish. Scheduling was easy and Yolo, our instructor was super-friendly and hospitable ! At first, the idea of making a rug was daunting but she made it easy, guiding us along through each and every step. Not only do I HIGHLY recommend but I would come back to this place each time I visit as these rugs make great gifts for the whole family. My favorite DIY project to date!
