Chick-fil-a is a business that I frequent for the quality of its food, and while I do not agree with every innovation to some of the locations or their personal feelings in regards to the lgbt community they are more consistent than every fast food restaurant I’ve been to in the past year or 2. However when I go to locations within malls I find the staff to be unfriendly and though the lack of enthusiasm doesn’t offend me I’d prefer to see another individual at the cash register who is more welcoming. What I do not like about another location just outside the first colony mall area in sugar land Texas was how the company had a female police officer who was African American pace back n forth outside of the restaurant as I dined inside. I looked them in the eyes, and even greeted them as I left but I did not appreciate the behavior from the officer. The staff was pleasant at this location and the food on point with my expectations based on past experience. As I begin to dig into the food from this establishment I’d like to remind Google & Chick Fil A that any form of stalking that results in things like the Sandra Bland incident will not go unnoticed my current community college I attend has a similar issue where the police officers stalk me as I exit from class. I have over 10 recollections of this happening and while I do not intend to get into an altercation with law enforcement I do plan on replacing the current officials who are blessed with an opportunity to enforce American laws. If this should happen again I will began reporting every officer and will begin to form a database for the general public to learn about these officers so that they can see directly that they repeatedly abuse their power by intimidating gifted young men which does not work by the way and is more likely to have the officers face criminal charges of endangerment to the general public, their presence is needed yes but their attitude and behavior is unappreciated. Complaining to the local police department is never met with the result I expect to see on the spot, retaliation is often recorded and documented and I have no problem making sure multiple officers are relieved of their duty and stripped of their badge and privileges. This has to end or it results in me taking multiple police departments to court and if the court decides to retaliate then they will be at...
Read moreI'm disappointed due of the lack of communication between the app and the resturant and the level of incompetence and poor customer service by the staff.
I placed my order via app at 10:24am the line for the drive through pick up ran all the way out on the street backed up all the way to the signal light. We waited in the line for approximately 35 mins total.
Around 10:50 am we are met with the first employee standing outside processing orders. I inform her of my mobile order to which she says you'll have to talk to them at the window to see if they can help you i can't do anything, but you won't be served breakfast. I asked her i placed the order before the cut off time from the app, and she replied immediately with you'll have to talk to them to see if they have any extra.
We wait for another 10 mins to get to the window service, I informed the staff member of my app order to which she just apologized and told me that she can only issue a refund. I asked her the same question, i placed the order ahead of time, i had to wait 35 minutes to come speak to you to be told that i can only be issued a refund.
My problem here is that neither the first or second staff member asked if we wanted to order something else, both of them were in a rush to get me out. Sometimes not about the apology, it's about the customer experience and frankly I have been let down.
I understand it's busy, i understand circumstances are different due to covid-19, Chicfila has set proper controls in place, we followed those procedures then why is your system falling apart? How am I to know that if i place an order at 10:24 am that I can not be served breakfast because you do not have adequate amount of inventory. What is the purpose of the app if you are ordering ahead? Why did the first staff member not just process my refund why did they make me wait further? They knew i had my order placed ahead of time but choose not to keep it ready for pick up.
I wasted 35 mins for a refund, my daughter had to come to work with me on an empty stomach as i did not have any more time to make another stop for her to...
Read moreOne of the hardest parts of my week is having to drive by this fine establishment twice a day. It's difficult because for 1, the line for the drive through backs up the 59 Frontage Rd for a half mile, causing VERY bad traffic jams. And 2, because I love theor food so much I could eat it 6 times a week (7 times if they weren't closed on Sunday).
Chick-Fil-A is God's gift to America, and America is God's gift to Chick-Fil-A. Factually, they are the most profitable fast food organization in the country, despite being closed 15% longer than their competitors (the busiest day of the week at that).
I love all of their food, and have never had a bad experience. However, this particular location is not up to par with the others I've been to across the nation. Workers are equally as pleasant as other locations, but the quality of food is just not hitting the mark.
My suspicion for this lack in consistency is because of the sheer volume of food they are forced to produce a day. From morning to evening they are packed, especially at lunch.
At the end of the day (or in the middle in most cases), I would rather go to the one in Sugar Land. That statement should concern the management here, but in my opinion fixing the problem won't increase sales, thus it won't be fixed. Mainly because it seems the majority of customers (again, THIS location) are chicken crazed zombies and don't care if their fries are stale and ice cream is melted.
If I am going to wait in line, I want the results to be worth the wait. Unfortunately for the fine folks at this location, it's not worth...
