Nice place, people....but the mead is WAY too sweet. By far (leaps and bounds) the most sickeningly sweet mead I've ever had. Giving a few stars because I think making cocktails with the mead is at least somewhat redeeming, but if you are a fan of mead I would suggest exploring some other options. If you do go in for a flight, at least start with their 'traditional' which seems to be the sweetest of their selection and will at least make the others a bit more palatable after starting with that. A gravity reading of their blackberry black currant is 1.091. Anything over 1.012 is generally considered 'sweet' so hopefully that gives anyone looking a reflection of how sweet these are. They are deep, deep, deep into desert wine territory. Not that that is a bad thing for everyone, just feel that anyone planning on imbibing here knows what they're going to get. And if someone told you all meads have to be sweet - well, they're lying to...
Read moreShame on me... I had never been there since I am a non-drinker. I had seen a post about them, and decided to call a friend and go for dinner. I am SO glad I did. I ordered the Birria Tacos and they were to die for! Tender, succulent beef with caramelized onion, and mozzarella and white cheddar cheese in soft taco shells that were finished in a birria butter. Absolutely delicious! My friend had the Bahn Mi with Tempeh and pickled vegetables. It was also extremely flavorful. She also ordered the Brussel Sprouts which were cooked to perfection and topped with bacon, caramelized onion and Parmesan cheese. So...

This is hands down the best meal I’ve ever had on a work trip. This is the worst picture ever because I’ve already eaten most of the plate. Remember that scene in Ratatoulli where the restaurant critic that looks eerily like a vampire flashes back to when he was a small boy? Me freaking too. The mead is phenomenal as well in case you were wondering. Normally I find mead to be too sweet. This stuff is nectar from the gods. I’m a changed person for...
