Disappointed in the service. The coffee was great, but poor, sweet, red headed girl was working hard to take orders and make drinks at the same time while two short, female brunettes were laughing and hanging out in the back with at least 5 people waiting on drinks. When I asked why my drink hadn’t been made I was told it was the next one in line. I was very aware that my drink was next because I watched numerous people come in and order after me while the short haired brunette came out twice and ignore the number of drinks to be made. Once I had complained, all of a sudden both brunettes were working out front, so it feels like there was a lot of messing around in the back while the poor, red headed girl did all the work. I was embarrassed for the owner who I’m sure would be disappointed in the lack of customer service from the two short brunettes who worked this morning (about noon on Dec 7th). For the record, almost all of my reviews are positive, but leaving this one because if I owned this coffee shop, I would want to know. PS- in response to owner’s comment: if the girls working were high risk then they also should have been wearing masks. Also, asking why my coffee wasn’t made yet isn’t disrespectful. If the girls had managed the situation by mentioning they would need me to wear a mask I would have gladly put mine back on, that I had been wearing while ordering. No worries, I have no intention...

I’m really a simple girl… Good Coffee, cute trinkets and plants make me happy. 🥹 This was not my original destination on my visit to Mebane but I’m so glad I walked down the street. What a super cute coffee spot! I loved the decor! Bravo for the cute way they squeezed an entire retail space in the front, full seating along the wall, a little corner in the back near the door and a booth seat. I mean I loved everything. My hubby got a Caramel Latte w/ Oak Milk, my son got the Mango Peach tea with extra simple syrup A rice crispy treat & a chive scone, (I know… he’s got the craziest taste buds) and I got a London Fog with espresso shots Oak milk and some extra Lavender syrup. (Yes recently I’ve been putting Lavender in everything) We ALL enjoyed our drinks! My husband is just as picky as I am and he said in the car on the way home: dang I should’ve gotten a second cup to go! We even sat inside in the back corner and enjoyed our drinks while we chatted and my son counted every person in the building. I wish I lived closer to go more often. I’d definitely make the 30 minute drive to visit again for another cup of joe and...

I've been here a few times but and the coffee has been subpar at best. Gave it another try on Saturday and I also ordered one of the “Oatmeal Raisin Cream Pies.” Most modern businesses note if there are nuts in a pastry item- especially when they have taken the time to write such a long name to advertise their pastry. I typically ask but figured “who puts nuts in an oatmeal raisin cream pie?”

My son took one bite and I saw the nut and gasp - to which he spit out what he had in his mouth immediately. I walked up to the desk and asked the lady working who had just rang us up - “do these have nuts?! Its not listed on there and he has an allergy to walnuts!” She pulls out a sheet from below the counter and sure enough it was walnuts. By this point I'm shaking because we may have to use his epi-pen. The lady shrugs and says “sorry,” and goes on about making another drink. What bothers me the most is the lack of care first, not offering a refund second and third not having it listed in the first place.

Terrible customer...

Loved the atmosphere and the service. The coffee was great, I got the iced Butterbeer, pictured below, and it was smackin. I’m a fan of the butterbeer drinks they got in Universal so it was a bit of a nostalgia trip. The service and atmosphere are really what I would capitalize on because they were both very lovely. The shop itself was very well lit and cool. Very nice place to study or read a book or even talk to somebody. The coffee was a bit pricy for me but that’s personal. I ended up spending about $5 for a 16oz coffee, while I prefer getting stuff a little cheaper; however, that’s purely my preference and I still highly recommend coming here over starbucks. I believe I’ll revisit this place in the future.

This is such a cute coffee shop located in downtown Mebane. There is a lot of natural lighting and lighting in general. It has a very welcoming feel with a tiny shop as soon as you walk in and a coffee shop to follow. There is a good amount of seating, coming in around 11 AM, was maybe not the move as all the seating was taken. I ordered a sweet scone, and it was decent. Typically, when I visit a new coffee shop, I always try a flat white, and I can tell you that this flat white was just OK. The espresso tasted slightly extracted, so definitely not as smooth as I would like, but it was still good. I think I would try this place again at an earlier time.
