I would not choose this park for playground play, as there are bigger playgrounds elsewhere that are much less crowded. It seems most folks come here for sports. Particularly soccer. We do not, but it appears the fields are very nice and kept up. There is a nice walking track and a decent workout/training area. We come here because it is a decent place to rollerskate. The walking track is new enough that the pavement is smooth enough to skate nicely. However, I mentioned below in my playground review, that mulch becomes a tripping hazard. The same is an issue on the sidewalks/track. Ofcourse an issue when skating. But also for joggers, bikes, strollers etc. When there are just random large pieces of mulch strewn along the sidewalks. Perhaps pinestraw or just simply soil for the small landscaped areas? Back to the reason we visit- a decent place to skate- if we come when there's no one on the playground (RARE!) it is the perfect spot to teach little ones to skate as the playground is smooth and made of a spongy like material. So, if the kids or my old, less agile body hits the ground, no big booboos to worry about 😁

Prepare to get wet!! For some reason I thought the splash park portion of the park wouldn't be on during the week so my kids and I weren't prepared. Even if you don't plan on using the splash park, it is very possible for bums to get wet since kids go back and forth from the splash park to the playground. The playground itself has a plastic, bouncy floor and has different areas for kids of all ages. There's plenty of shade AND close seating areas for us parents/kids to take a break. The bathrooms are nice and clean, though a bit hot just as any other park bathroom. There's picnic tables, trails, soccer fields. I'm sure I'm missing more things but the kids don't wanna leave the splash park to go explore more. We'll definitely be back!! P.S. I really enjoyed seeing the plastic in between the chain links to prevent little fingers getting stuck!

Okay! So, this park is a constant in our household! The entire family, from my husband to the teen, to the toddler, to the baby, to the dog wants to return often. The exercise equipment is great for a park, the playground has a tiny people side and a big kid side, the splash park is amazing, and the good ole soccer fields make everyone in this area happy. They have a walking trail that's marked with mileage. I enjoy the scenery as well. This park is absolutely beautiful and well-kept. Oh! Let's discuss the fact that I'm not grossed out by the restrooms here. It's a clean park and I hope the community continues to take pride in it and keep it this way. ❤️
