Cookie Chris — Restaurant in Mechanicsville

I arrived at the store around 11:00 AM, only to find the doors locked despite the posted business hours indicating it should be open. I called the number listed for the store and was redirected to another location—extremely frustrating and inconvenient. While I was waiting, another employee also showed up and couldn’t get in, which only confirmed that this wasn’t a one-time issue.

This isn’t the first time I’ve experienced this. I previously visited the Short Pump location and found it closed before their posted closing time. It’s really disappointing, especially when I’m intentionally trying to support a Black-owned business. But it’s hard to do that when reliability and communication are lacking. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and makes improvements, because the inconsistency is driving...

Visited Cookie Chris for the grand opening of their 3rd store on Mechanicsville Tnpk and once again, amazing! They had my favorite cookie, the Virginia Butter, along with several other delicious cookies. If you haven’t tried the Virginia Butter, you must grab it when it comes back around!

The store was spotless, the staff were courteous, helpful, and very professional, and the owner was right there on-site, now that’s what I call service.

My wife and I recently went to the grand opening, and we were so eager to try it out. We were truly impressed by the outstanding customer service! I had the Cookie Alamo, and it was absolutely delicious. The Strawberry Shortcake ice cream paired with a chocolate chip cookie was a delightful treat.
