KFC — Restaurant in Virginia

We like the Hot Wings and the mac & cheese. I usually go through the drive-thru, place my order, PAY FOR MY ORDER, get my receipt, and tell the cashier I'll be back to pick it up when it's done because we normally order the 24 piece hot wings. I go run another errand and then come back and pick it up. No problems. Now KFC does have an app you can order through, but I wouldn't trust using that at this location. All I have to say is I’m unsure why my door dash driver had to wait an additional 30 minutes for our food for it to come to us old, dry, and hard. I’m usually not one to sit here and take the time to do a review, but this has to stop being the norm. We ordered from the KFC app, which only gave the option to get delivery from either E Belt, or this location. Our dasher was made to wait for our food thinking they were waiting on fresh chicken for us to receive not only old chicken, but not even the pieces my husband had requested. I tried to be polite and patient but the way the drive thru attendant even took my order "you can go head when you ready" then as soon as I start ordering a 8 piece meal "hold on a min" she came back saying they didn't have but legs and wings in crispy and I'm like can I wait for some. I placed my order at 9:01pm its on my receipt. I was told to pull around and someone would bring me my food. I sat out there until 9:31 before I went inside and it still wasn't ready.
