Popular local Italian restaurant The parking lot is always full, I've heard great reviews so last Friday I decided to give it a try.
I ordered the panzarotti - baked here not fried though for this food I think it's best fried. Large portion, sufficiently filled, good sauce and cheese. This was the best out of what I ordered.
I customized a pizza with ricotta, peppers, olives. Good but nothing I would go the distance for or actually crave on one of my Friday pizza nights. I prefer a more crispy crust, this one didn't hold up well when I ate it but ricotta is heavy in all fairness. I would give it a 3 out of 5 since there was something a little off in the flavor and smell of the peppers also.
Chicken fingers - getting this part of the review from the connoisseur of this food my 13 y/o, it was at once really good then tanked once a few grizzly/rubbery pieces were found.
They have two areas for seating, one in the busy front area and another closed off which is probably a more enjoyable sit down area if your looking for a quiet spot.
Very nice staff, didn't keep me waiting despite the hectic crowd. Answered quick questions politely with a pleasant demeanor.
I will try the dining area next time for an actual dinner since I need to see what the big draw for this place really is, must be the table service and Italian meals versus the take out.. to...
Read moreWhen you step through those doors you are greeted by an amazing aroma--could be someone enjoying an amazing dinner dish or someone grabbing a slice before their baseball game. For me, it's perfection. The way the cheese melts off but is not too hot to burn the tongue; the sauce, that could be argued to have been poured by the Pizza God, himself. The crust is never too burnt--alway perfect. the way you ask for ranch with your buffalo chicken slice, and they always say, "with pleasure." I always grab a Sicilian and buffalo chicken slice and if i'm feeling adventurous, a bottle of coca-cola from their well-stocked refrigerator. i feel like i'm robbing them when they tell me the price, for i will pay a million dollars for a slice. They then deliver the slice(s) to you with a smile. My only complaint is that i do not live closer. if i only had enough gas in my tank to get to the Riviera in medford Lakes or too my son's bar mitzvah, catch me with a delicious slice of...
Read moreGood morning ☀️ I was in your store last Thursday waiting on my lunch order. There were a couple people working behind the counter. There was a customer in the dining area who ordered, what I believe is called a hoagie slice, and didn’t want tomatoes on the slice. There was a women behind the counter who was older, with mid length hair to top of her shoulders, who proceeded to pick the tomatoes off the slice of the customer with her bare hands and place those same tomatoes onto the rest of the pizza that was under the display. Prior to doing so she was just touching and using her cell phone, handling money at the register and answering the restaurant phone. This was very unsanitary and a health concern. I would think you would just put together a fresh slice for someone if there was something they didn’t want on the slice but if toppings were going to be removed , hand washing and gloves...
