Royal Coffee Roasting — Restaurant in Medford

Today July 4th 2024 I went in around 12pm. I received a text for a buy one get one drink. I go in to this coffee shop often and don’t really receive consistent service that is great. Today the customer service was terrible. When I ordered my drink the first thing I asked was about the buy one get one and she said yes what would you like and I told her two of the same drinks. I got to the window my order was $8.20 I gave her $10.25 she dropped the .25 on the ground and gave me $1.80 back I then said I gave her $10.25. She responded well the .25 dropped so I can’t do anything about that. So I moved my truck got out and got my quarter back. She gave me 1 drink then I sat there a minute and she said can I help you I responded with one can I get a straw and a extra cup as the cold cup without ice is flimsy she said really? She got it, the. I asked for my other drink, she responded with what other drink, I said the free one. She said there was no free one. I said I asked you about it when ordering because I got a text and you said that was correct. She responded with there is no free one on your ticket. She asked the manager and said I can’t do that so I waited she then finally got it. The manager came up I asked for another straw and cup for my second drink. She said I have to charge you .25 cents per cup. I said they have never done that before nor any other coffee shop and I come here often. She said well I’ll talk to my employees to let them know to charge you. I won’t be back. Would love the chance to speak with the owner for sure. Never been treated like this here nor any other...

What a fantastic find! I recently had the pleasure of visiting Royal Coffee Roasting's drive-thru location, conveniently situated directly across from the Medford International Airport (MFR), and was thoroughly impressed.

Friendly Service & Delicious Coffee

The customer service here is a standout. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making for a truly enjoyable and positive experience from the moment I pulled up to the window. Their warmth and efficiency made my morning stop a breeze.

As for the coffee, it was simply divine. I ordered a latte, and it was perfectly crafted—rich, smooth, and delicious. It's clear that Royal Coffee Roasting takes great pride in their beans and their craft. The quality is top-notch, and it's a real treat to have access to such great coffee in a convenient drive-thru format.

A Convenient Airport-Adjacent Gem

This spot is a lifesaver for anyone heading to or from the airport. Its prime location makes it an ideal stop for a quick, high-quality caffeine fix. My only wish is that they were open a bit earlier. I often drop off residents at the airport around 4 a.m. who are in desperate need of a coffee, and it would be amazing to be able to grab a cup for them at that hour . Overall, I highly recommend Royal Coffee Roasting for an exceptional drive-thru experience. If you're near the Medford airport and craving great coffee served with a smile, this is the place to go. Maybe I will update my review when they update their hours. Clearly states that they're open 7 days a week at 5am and it's now 5:22am and not a soul is here. I've been wanting to try this place since they started building it. Today, I got up early to have time to swing thru the drive thru and be the 1st customer of the day, waited anxiously for over 45 minutes for someone to show up and to open and now, I'm leaving without my morning pick me up and no time to go to my usual coffee stand that opens religiously by 5AM, so I can get to my job ON TIME at 5:40.. I won't be back til they have someone responsible and punctual here at 5AM. Not a great way to sway customers to a new, solo coffee joint with all the other options to choose from in the Valley. If you want die hard, loyal customers, someone MUST show up ON TIME with a cheerful demeanor and put a smile on people's (morning) faces with Good convo, excellent coffee, breakfast products, and a dedicated, friendly staff to kickstart the day ahead for your patrons.
