Sky House Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Medford

It's the only food option at an airport so I really didn't expect much. The prices were very high for what was delivered and the service was staggeringly slow. It wasn't just my table, other tables were waving to get attention, too, from servers who simply didn't look our way, probably so we couldn't catch their eye. Ordinary coffee was $3.45, which would have been tolerable with refills but even though one young lady asked if I wanted a refill, none were forthcoming until I was just about to leave. In order to pay the check I had to get up and find someone to take it. This is an airport; one would think prompt service would be a priority. The food was super simple and took so long I wonder if the servers had to make the sandwiches themselves. Mine came with chips that were so overcooked and so over-seasoned (burnt garlic is not a good flavor) I didn't even eat them. This restaurant has very good food and I purchase all my inflight mesls from there, however, today the new waitresses were trying to charge me extra for tost that is included on the menu with the steak and egg breakfast and they were arguing that the menu is wrong (same menu that has been used for years) and at first they kept saying menu has mis print so i have to pay extra but then when they noticed I was repeat client they said “we will do this only once for you this time”. I felt as if I was being robbed and very uncomfortable, this destroyed every good feeling I had about this place, what a joke to want to charge extra foe toast with breakfast order that included toast every where, how would you serve eggs without toat and want to charge extra. Everyone if you get the young ladies there serving you make sure you check charges vs menu so you do not get over charged, my rating of 4 star is only for the food and kitchen staff. So so...

My dad and I walked in around 11:30, during their lunch rush. We were very confused because we didn't know if we sat ourselves or if someone was going to seat us. We had waited behind 2 to 3 other families for about 5 minutes just looking at our menu in no rush to sit down and eat until a very upset cook Maybe? Came out of the kitchen yelling at all of us saying we needed to leave because they were backed up. It was extremely rude and very unprofessional. I understand the stressfulness of a lunch rush since I, myself do part time waitressing. But treating people the way he did just for standing there waiting to get sat was absolutely ridiculous. Not only did my dad and I put our menu away and left but so did the line of people ahead and behind us. Plus, he made such a scene that the whole restaurant heard him and completely embarrassed everyone in line. I will never return...
