ZaZa Pizzeria — Restaurant in Medford

Terrible service not worth the pizza quality.

I picked up a large pizza and it was undercooked and only 14" (large is 16"). I was missing ~45 square inches, or 23% of my pizza! This was after they called me saying they couldn't make my first choice of pizza for whatever reason.

I once picked up a pizza fifteen minutes late, which was my fault, but the employee was extremely rude to me about it, yelling at me. The restaurant was still open, I was the only customer, and the pizza was already made and paid for... all he had to do was hand it to me.

I recently called ahead to order a pizza. Forty minutes later I show up and there are about 15 people milling about while a lackadaisical older woman yells out pizzas none of have ordered. After fifteen minutes of this I realize that there is no line and she is just serving whoever yells at her the loudest, so I have to push my way to the front to get to my pizza while she takes her sweet time. It was cold.

I recently called ahead to order a pizza. They said it was fine and to come in 20 mins. I show up 30 mins later and they have no record of my order. They ask for my name despite me not giving a name on the phone. I then had to wait another 20 mins for them to now make my pizza. After all this, when I went to pay, they say that "the system is down" and they can't take cards. Then, when I pay with cash, the guy short-changes me! He only gives me my dollar when I call him out on it. What sort of outfit is this place? I will...

I am extremely disappointed. I don't know how this place has so many stars I order yesterday a Margherita pizza and that pizza all it taste like was tomatoe sauce with no flavor it was nasty it hardly had mozzarella or basil I should of taken a pic to post it so you all can see what I was talking about. I called and order over the phone and was told it was going to be done in 35m i actually came done 50m later to give them more time when I came to pick up it wasn't even ready or they haven't even made it yet. I paid for the order and the girl in the register tells me after words she doesn't have 67cents back to give me after she charge me and gave the rest of the money back. I wish she mention in the beginning so I can give her the change. But I heard this is something common she does to ppl to keep the change as tips is nothing new . I will tip but knowing how they doing things in this place they definitely not getting my tips this is not how you do business and i will never come again . AMAZING EXPERIENCE... Let me say this place is top notch, ALL AROUND! Ordered delivery while staying for work thru doordash. Order was delivered within a fair amount of time. When I opened the contents I found that all but my steak and cheese sub were delivered. I called the store directly and received an amazing reception from the woman working there. She apologized numerous times for the occurance, and even offered to include an additional sub for the error. The rest of the order was delivered hastily hsstily and correctly. I have 1. Never experienced such a wonderful response from a business, along with the addition of the Xtra sub which was unnecessary but appreciated fully. And 2. The rest of the order (buffalo chicken egg rolls, fries, and caesar salad) were absolutely delicious as well.
