Jersey Mike's could be the best subs around over other places if they could just balance out the proper food portion on their subs. We order the (Giant Size) Thinlysliced Cheese is 4 to 6 slices thin. Very thin The meat when laid out on the bread roll (Giant size) can be anywhere from 4 to 6 slices based on the employee on the slicer. Fluffed up. It makes you feel like it was daintily put on. Then its pile on veggies. Lettuce so thick where did the meat and cheese go? ( remember Wendy's "where's the beef?" commercial) Onions most times feel counted when placed on the sandwich. Yes counted. Folks lay on the onions we will tell you light or heavy when asked if we want onions. And if the sandwich comes with bacon and mayo we want it. Maybe ask when starting to take the order do you want everything standard that comes on it? And we as the ordering public should also say things like we want it Mike's way with or without (something) vs I want this, this, this, and this oh and I didn't want bacon. Well that would have been addressed in the 2nd or 3rd Question of the order. SOP folks. I just want to say its very high in price what Jersey Mike's charges for its subs in general but come on put some protein and cheese on these things. I feel ripped off in taste and weight of our sandwiches at this high of a price per sub with this happening in your stores. Your coupons are nice $2 off a Giant makes for a better value when they come out online. But that value would be even better with proper portion on the sandwich to begin with. Now as for the employees. They have been fantastic as folks representing Jersey Mike's. Friendly and smiles. Will we go again probably because of your Rosemary Parmesan bread but until we see a change it wont be the sandwich place of...
Read moreI use to frequent the Jersey mike's on Wickham road in front of Walmart, near Sarno road. I would go there minimum 3 days a week for over a year. They loved me, I'm a great tipper. I would call my order in, and 10 to 15 minutes later pick up some of the best subs in Florida. But all of a sudden the staff changed. I'm handicapped, and because of covid it was more important to me to order on the phone, then run in and out as quick as possible. I understand they can't enforce mask rules, although all the employees wear masks they don't even have a sign up suggesting mask wearing. Here's where my problem is. They have no problem taking the phone off the hook, and that means I have to go stand in the store for upwards of 20 minutes wearing my mask, but hardly any other patrons wearing one. Taking the phone off the hook is NOT acceptable to me. So I stopped going there, after this is a regular practice at this particular store. I mentioned it to them every time I have gone there, and left feeling like the bad guy. I occasionally go to Hibiscus store, but that's just to far to drive. So Jersey Mike's have lost all my business. I hope this is not a practice that Jersey Mike's corporate condones. Because I'm sure I'm not the only one that gets frustrated to hear a busy signal, and it IS because they take the phone...
Read moreHonestly can't complain overall about the quality or the speed of service. I always order out and they're--ZOOM-- in and out in under 15 minutes.
The only thing I can comment on is that over the last couple of years, anyone I picked up a sandwich for that ordered 'extra' pickles always ends up with at most four pickles. I don't know if the sandwiches typically come with two pickle chips, and the third is the extra, but I swear someone down there has it out for the gherkin menace. Thank God I'm not a genetic degenerate that requires brine fermented vegetables to function, but it is peculiar.
Edit: Thanks for the reply. If you could put those extra pickles on the side on the sandwich instead, that could contain their wrath for...
