Where do I start. I have a disability and walk with a limp. When I came in the waitress looked at me and rolled her eyes then continued to talk to another guest. I had to walk up to her and ask to be seated. After I sat myself, she comes over. Probably close to 10 minutes later. I found this place at the suggestion of the mechanic at a repair shop not far from here. I told her my vehicle was in the shop and asked if I could wait until noon. It was about 9 a.m. she told me to stay out her way and I'll be fine. I asked if I could order. The food came. It was pretty good actually. I ordered corned beef hash and it was homemade. I had to approach the counter and ask if I could please have some water. The one star is a direct result of her. Other than that, the restaurant was clean, the food was good... better than most cafes, but the service was lousy. Read moreMy family loves this place! I’ve been going there since I was 17..and missed it so bad when I moved too far away to make the trip back. I moved back to the area recently; and we came back to Oakwood Coney & Grill-hoping the food was still as good as we remembered it to be..it is even better than before! They can really make a great breakfast-actually everything we order is fantastic! Never had a bad meal there in all the time we have been back! I have a lot of food allergies-and the wait staff is always really careful when placing my order. I appreciate that! U can’t go wrong with the food! It’s not highfalutin or stuffy, it’s clean, accommodating, and has plenty of their own parking. The owner always tries to give the wait staff a hand in clearing tables, and while he is going around he always asks how the meal was, and thanks us for coming in! This place might as well be in Maybury-bcuz it’s a very friendly place to eat, and enjoy a nice meal out with...

I like jam on my omelettes so I always ask for extra. Ok...2 breakfasts...4 pieces of toast....6 jams? I tipped this girl $5 that none of us can afford rt now. I asked her for extra jam and her response was " What!? More than 6?!" I say I can pay for it and she responded with an attitude and " Well I have to go see what to charge you." I looked at the lady next to me and said" I tip you $5 and you want to charge for jam?! Huh."This is all verbatim guys. She then comes back with double the attitude and tells me I'm all set.
Why? I was polite,chatty even.
The first girl I met there was really awesome. The food is amazing and the owner is...
