I used to go here quite often but lately, their staff has been rude, unprepared, and incompetent. Maybe they're having management problems, I'm not sure, but I do know that the last eight or nine times I've gone to this location, my order has been incomplete or wrong, and the staff have been completely unapologetic about it. That sort of thing is something that I'll excuse two or three times--because people do have off days and I know what it's like to work in food service, so I'm inclined to give the benefit of the doubt. But when it's getting to the point where they can't even get a simple donut order correct (I asked for half a dozen cruellers--they gave me half a dozen old-fashioned cake donuts) it's time to stop patronizing that location. I might have been inclined to continue going, since it's closer to my house than any other location, if the staff wasn't almost universally rude. And I'm not talking "service with a smile" type stuff--I don't need my barista to smile at me to make me feel good about myself. And I get it, people are tired or just don't want to be working at Tim Horton's. I totally get it. I'm talking about things like the fact that my sister was asked to pay twice for an order, and the cashier wouldn't believe her when she said she'd already paid. I'm sorry, that's ridiculous. I know the customer isn't always right, but really? Accusing someone of trying to steal from your establishment with absolutely no evidence? Unreasonably rude. I will say that this location always seems to be understaffed, which may be an explanation for the slower service times and the order confusions, but if I'm being honest, my main concern is the rudeness of the staff. Something that I also don't think can be explained by understaffing is the fact that this location never seems to have anything in stock. Almost every time I go there, they're out of something I want. Bacon, steak, and chips are the most common culprits, but I've also been told that they were out of mayonnaise, ham, and chicken at other times. Either they really are running out of those things at light speed, or the person in charge of their orders isn't doing their job very well. I'm really not the sort of person who gives bad reviews, but I'm so beyond frustrated at this point, and I wanted to let other people know how bad the service has gotten at this location. Tim Horton's either needs to overhaul this location, or shut it down, because the service has gone steeply downhill over the past few months.
If you, like me, still favor Tim Horton's over any other coffee place even despite the awful service from this location, I'd suggest going to the Southfield Road location--I don't have any complains about that location, and the staff is always super...
Read moreThis location is literally a hot mess and I only continue to go here because the other Tim Hortons that’s nearby is also a train wreck. Last week when I came to the drive-through, the lady was very rude and was very short and I understand being short staffed could put pressure however when I pulled around and waited for my drink to be brought out to me and a bagel with cream cheese, there was other cars waiting also, the cars after me got their food. The only person that helped was this gentleman while I’m watching inside there are three other employees all around on their phone. I honestly if I had cash and his name I would’ve walked back in and tipped him because he was the only person that took care of me. The other day, not sure if it’s their speaker at the drive thru, I had to say latte five times then I asked for 10 pack of Tim bits and a six pack of donuts. He goes a dozen. I said no six donuts he goes you want a dozen I’m like no I want half dozen. I had to explain to him that I wanted a six pack several times and then he asked me what my drink was cause he never run it up. I tried to pay on my phone he says the app isn’t working. He scans a couple times and I tried to explain the rewards scan is different than the pay one. Finally I said OK hold on Let me see if I got money. I gave him cash and then tells me to pull around and wait for food I said no I’m going to stay here and wait until I get he says no I have to pull around and wait by the door and I said no I would not pull around until I get my change because I handed him $15 and it was only $13 and some change. Meanwhile, the car behind me is honking so I finally pull around after I get my change. They bring me out my coffee and tell me have a great day. I said what about my donuts … I didn’t pull around just to sit and wait...
Read moreThis is the closest Tim hortons to me and I usually only get one item an iced cap every time so that’s why I will go there but the quality is usually questionable 6/10 times honestly. This is the last time I’ll go to this tim hortons today however because instead of my usual one item I decided to get three and add two hash browns to my one iced cap. Well the worker said “did you say two iced caps?” And she put it on the screen and I replied no sorry I just wanted one please and then she said okay no problem and then I ordered my two hash browns and then she told me my total for two iced caps and the hash browns. I then reminded her oh no I just wanted to one iced cap not two and she replied very rudely saying yes I know but she needs to check out the person first and then we will change it and I just said oh I’m sorry I didn’t mean it like that I was just confused because you had told me the total was 10 dollars and then I had noticed also there was no car in front of me at the window so I just asked them to cancel the order and I drove away and they were laughing as I drove by. Morning shift here all needs to get replaced is all I’m saying because it’s the same manager that seems to have problems...
