White Rhino Sports Bar Inc — Restaurant in Melvindale

A PSA before this review: I have incredibly low standards for dive bars and this place was the bottom of the barrel.

I have never received as terrible of service as we did here, our server Melina got our bucket of beer, took our order, and only came back once after… in the mean time we waited over 40 mins for one calzone (which she was obviously very irritated about us asking the status of)

She promptly went onto the patio for 15 mins and came back in wreaking of weed and ignoring us still. I had to bring our empty bucket up to the bar and request a new one because the 6 other people in the bar were seemingly keeping her way too busy to attend to us. We finally got our calzone and were ignore the rest of our visit and had to once again go up to the bar to ask for our check. Another older blonde server was very drunk and yelling with another patron at a table. It appears that it is a “work not at all, play harder” environment for these servers.

I’m giving 2 starts for the atmosphere because it’s clearly a very cool looking environment with all the bones to be a great establishment but it is entirely diminished by the lack of professionalism or pride from the servers. I feel bad for the owner of this bar that clearly cares about their establishment and hope they can get...

I been here few times but I came in last night but bartender that’s was on was horrible not friendly at all, she gave off vibes of prejudices of brown peoples you know what I saying. It was the short bartender I order a Cognac’s with a water back she h gave me the smallest glass with no ice at all it was in the same size glass my drink the h2o takes like dish water I don’t know where she got her training from she needs some classes to serves the public!,,,or at lease train to reacted with all of the bar customers.. I also had friends I met there and she gave them a hard time @ the pool tables and she tried to forced them out by saying she was cashing them out before they finished the bucket of beers. Maybe the owner needs to address this issue before he loses...

Horrible! Came with a group of 12 people & the bartender refuses to serve 1 person out the group because the Mexican lady working said 1 person was rude & didn't tip! Which we have only been to that bar twice with the same amount of people & had no issues whatsoever & to top it off the 2 Mexican girls working wasn't working either time. It always was an older white lady working. Clearly she had the wrong person mixed up. And if they was professional & about money the other waitress should had stepped in & been the bigger person & smoothed the situation out. We definitely took our business elsewhere!
