Big Myrt's Wings and Things — Restaurant in Memphis

First time going here and this is my honest review. So first off they are new so timing on when you get your food may vary. Yes I had to wait during lunch time. Service: The guy behind the counter A1. He was good on recommendations and I even saw him take a couple to the wall to see what they were ordering. Yes there are pictures of food from the menu on the wall. Pricing: I think the pricing of the food for what they are serving is average. My order: I ordered the catfish sandwich. Honey hot with lemon pepper wings, and their Memphis seasoning wings. The catfish sandwich was not overpowering with added flavors and it tasted very fresh. Would order it again. The wings were hard fried, which I've learned that most memphians like, but I'm not a fan. The honey Hot with lemon pepper was perfect and would order it again, but anything seasoned with a hard fry, I'm not crazy for. The ranch dressing: I will be going back to see if I can order their ranch dressing in a bottle hoping that it is House made. Even though it's a little more saltier than most Ranch dressings that I have had, I would most definitely order that by itself to use on a whole lot of other dishes that I love. Overall I think that they're most definitely worth trying for the first time to see, for yourself, if you like them. And yes I will be going back to try...

Realky great tasting food! This restaurant is a hidden gem. Definitely underrated. Up until today I had only had the fried green tomatoes (twice) and they were the best I've had in a long time My family tried other items on the menu and everything we ordered was absolutely excellent. We ordered Plain boneless wings (kids rated them 10 out of 10) Parmesan party wings - AMAZING The best (if not close) to the best wings he's ever had. (He's very critical/honest) about take out food. I got the honey hot boneless wings. They were so good! Just the right amount of heat and seasoning. The fried green tomatoes were PERFECTION, as always. Perfect seasoning and the crunch was spot on. The onion rings are just as phenomenal as the fried green tomatoes. Everything was cooked to order , hot and fresh. If you haven't tried this hidden gem of a restaurant, you are missing out! Go try something! You won't be disappointed.

Terrible customer service but good food. Owner/Cook got mad because I asked how long for a 3 piece whole wing & quesadilla after waiting 40 mins. He asked if I wanted my money back. Well sure if that's your response. Customers placing orders after me even received big orders before me. But it was his response. His attitude was so ugly. He kept loud talking because he was attempting to show out in front of customers. Terrible. Don't go here if you're not a regular customer or a certain age or race because he acts so disrespectful! & I told him that my mother frequently patronize his business in which he kept saying he don't know her.
