Jr Fish & Chicken — Restaurant in Memphis

They got a 5 star for a $1 discount that obviously wasn't worth it. I said I will rate 5 star but I'm going to give a honest review! I did a call in order at 1:45pm for 2 3piece wing combos and a cheese burger combo w/2 teas and 1 rootbeer. I was told come in 5mins...I got there at 2:03...I knew it would be longer than 5mins. I get there and was told to park for 5mins...I told him I was going to get my daughter who off work down the street (she actually got off at 2pm and was on speaker while I was paying and asked where I was..when I told her..she told me to come pick her up because they take all day). I picked her up and still had to wait when I returned. When he brought my order...it was only 1 wing combo. He told me the wings were already ready... come back to window to pay. After I paid...he tell me park again and wings will be out in 5mins. When he asked me for flavor drink...I realized I didn't get my other 2drinks for the combos I had. I waited over 10mins before order came out. He said he gave me a xtra drink for the wait but I corrected him..He gave me 3drinks that go with my 3 combos. He was willing to get me another drink but I wasn't waiting any longer. Get home and had 3 teas vs 2 and a rootbeer. They are pretty steady and may be short staffed...I don't know. Im not sure if they cook as ordered to avoid wasted food from call in orders not being picked up or what. Stop telling people 5-15mins to get business if orders won't be ready. It suppose to be convenient to place a call in order to avoid the wait. People may be on break etc. I always get wings and they are good but I barely go because it never fails...you are going to wait regardless if you called...

I came by yesteeday again i have been there 4 times within a week starting last thursday to this thursday bragging to friends and coworkers to try your place even got a menu to show them because holidays coming up and people have parties everytime i came i did't mind the wait because i knew my food was going to be fresh and hot to touch well this time out of the last 3 times was a disappointment no soon as i pull in my #4 my was coming out in less than 5 minutes i was saying to myself that was quick i normanally get a fry or pinch of wing before making it home because it be so hot this time i waitited until i go home because am around tge corner i can wait got home fries old and cold honey hot wings balled up and old like they had been sitting for awhile i ate 2 wings the rest still in the box and a hungry me my mind said to go somewhere else and get something different but i was so pleased with the service and food i came back...

My experience at this location was okay. I placed my order at drive thru and had to wait 15 to 20 minutes for my food. I asked for chicken gizzards with my fish and got chicken livers. I always check my food before leaving. They were out of chicken gizzards but no one informed me of that. I don't eat chicken livers. The guy cooking told me to come back the next day for a free order of gizzards. I called and was told he was just kidding. WHAT!!!!! Because I received shrimp in place of gizzards, he thought this was okay. This is not good customer service. The food was good but because he was not a man of his word I will not be returning to this place again. You don't promise your customers something and then claim you were...
