Halal Pizza & Pasta — Restaurant in Memphis

I just wanted to do a quick review. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger pizza, lemon pepper bone-in wings, and Oreo cake. The pizza is pretty good. I love the cheese. Solid sauce. The wings are nice and crispy with a good amount of seasoning. My only issue is with the dessert.

The Oreo cake was unavailable. I was provided with a generous slice of cheesecake as a substitute. No problem. I love cheesecake. The problem is that the graham cracker crust is soggy in a very unappetizing way. The cheesecake filling itself is delicious. But that crust was not nice to eat. Which is really disappointing because the crust is my favorite part. I don't know how the crust got wet, or if the issue is specific to just the plain cheesecake. I understand restaurants run out of items. So I'm always flexible with substitutes. But I am not happy about this cheesecake. How did the crust get wet, y'all? 😂

Aside from the cheesecake, the food is good. Give them a try. Pizza and wings are a 5. Cheesecake is a 2 with the potential to be a 5 with a dry crust.

Delicious! Germantown has a lot of pizza places but this one is different and they have SO much more than just pizza. Everything is homemade, fresh and affordable. Love the crust - fresh, not too thin, not too thick. The flavor!! I am vegetarian and my husband loves meat. We got a supreme pizza with meat left off of one side - a suggestion by the owner which was perfect. We also had tiramisu and it is to die for. It was very thick, dense, rich - not the usual frozen, defrosted dessert. The owner is extremely personable, brought the food out, spoke with us briefly and left us to our dinner. There isn’t much in the way of decor but it is VERY CLEAN and just getting started. The restaurant has fresh paint, pleasant colors, comfortable booths as well as tables, and big screen TV. This family has two successful restaurants in Jackson TN so they aren’t new to the business, which is obvious after just one visit. Please give them a try and help them make it a success! Food wasn't good at all I give it a 4/10, the fries where super greasy and the pizza was over cooked and really salty. I made an order over the phone when I got there I had to wait an additional 20mins prior to the time I was provided. My order was incorrect when I received it , when I stressed this to the man behind the counter he didn't bother to fix the issue. He was rude and it instantly made me regret ordering, the prices are also outrageous for some of the items I ordered compared to the quality and size. I will definitely not be ordering any food from them again and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU DONT WASTE...
