T J Mulligans — Restaurant in Memphis

The entertainment is decent and priced low. The drinks are overpriced. $9 shots of knob creek, but most importantly. The service is terrible. After karaoke was over, I simply asked the waitress if she could switch the music from her iphone to the jukebox (a jukebox for paying customers). She refused. I was a bit irritated that her time at work consisted of using her iphone and listening to her music instead of focusing on her customers. She was sitting the entire time watching the bartender work. Again, isn't the jukebox for your paying customers? She then had the bartender who works there without warning come up to me and try to push me out of the bar after I had just finished paying for my $18 drink. They then preceded to claim that the cops were going to show up and arrest me and I was drunk (at the bar I was paying for drinks at). I wasn't. I had a few drinks over several hours. I asked for an apology from the manager who refused. Who clearly saw a video where I was assaulted by his staff for asking to change the music to the jukebox. The police officer on location, didn't talk to me, asked me to leave (which is what I was doing at the point) and I got in my car and drove home. It was terrible service by rude staff and could have put me in a dangerous situation for drinking and driving at the bar, had I been drunk, but I wasn't. But that is what bars offer, correct? 0 out of 10.

P.S. I hope everyone at the location has a copy of the video and would send me one too. It would actually be hilarious how poor the service was, how I was unaware of any reason to be assaulted, but was by a guy 100lbs heavier than I am, and that I had complete head control after he put his hands on me and assaulted me, then was told by the police that I could drive away while they claimed they were going to get me arrested for a DUI (when i wasn't drunk) at a bar that was serving me.

Funny stuff. Wheres the video? I'm sure my attorney Mike Montesi (a family friend) would have a field day with it.

I had a HORRIBLE experience here today. My mom who is in the hospital placed a order for pick up. I went inside to the hostess desk with my 2 year old to pick up the order and I was yelled at from across the bar by an employee saying “That baby can’t be in here!” Still unaware of what was going on at the time I tried to explain that I was there to simply pick up an order not eat. One of the waiters then yelled “You’re going to have to leave and wait outside, because they are smoking in here and I’m sure your baby doesn’t smoke.” The guy at the bar then laughed and said “He probably does!”. I was told to get out. I have never been here or heard of this place before on seen it through passing. I was unaware that this was not a family place. I called inside after waiting outside of the door for five minutes with my son to ask if someone would bring me my order out. The waiter who made a derogatory comment before answered and I asked if someone would bring my food out I explained to her again that I didn’t understand what was going on and she replied “There is clearly a sign outside of the door that says 21 and older must have ID, would you like me to come and read it to you.?” Again I had never been here before and never will come again. As a mother I was made to stand outside with my child. I asked for a refund and i was told they would not give me one because they had already cooked the food my card was charged. I truly was in a great mood and ready to enjoy the vibes with my boo until when we arrived, we had to show security our IDs of course and as sitting down we waited 10 minutes and wasn’t greeted properly by our waitress she instantly asked for our IDS once again like we weren’t over 21. I am truly over 21! I never had an issue like this what’s so EVER! Seems that she didn’t want to serve us anyways. As your job being a waitress why are you so RUDE and why are you coming off racist since we are African American? I highly won’t recommend anyone coming when she’s the waitress because apparently she wasn’t in a great mood!
