The food and the patio were great and I really wanted to give this place 5 stars. We had yakisoba, vietnamese fried rice and hawaiian poke bowls. All of it tasty and we really enjoyed it. But I wouldn't recommend ordering a cocktail from the bar. I don't know what happened with mine...I told the waitress that I couldn't taste any alcohol, so she offered to get it fixed. When she brought it back to me, I kind of felt like someone was messing with me (for complaining) and just pretended to make it stronger. So I said it was fine even though it really wasn't.
The drink: I ordered an Ultimate Mt. Fuji Margarita and when it was served, it just tasted like lemonade. I was embarrassed to send it back, but it costs way too much to just be lemonade. When it was returned to me, instead of fixing the problem, it now tasted watered down (so not even the good lemonade it was before I had it "fixed"). I couldn't face sending it back again after that, so I just took the $10+ hit for what was essentially a diluted lemonade in a small glass (with no refills). It was hard enough for me to complain the first time. I don't know if someone got into their Reposido Tequila and replaced it with water, but there was no alcohol in my Ultimate Mt. Fuji Margarita. I don't drink alcohol very often and have never in my life had a margarita where I couldn't taste the tequila...until today. I usually have to request more mix to balance it out. My son, who never drinks, agreed that the "fixed" one tasted like watered down lemonade and he didn't detect a hint of alcohol. The conclusive proof for me is that a little while after drinking alcohol, my face turns red and gets hot (another reason I don't drink often) and I experienced none of that. So there was zero alcohol in my drink the first time and after, when it was supposedly "fixed".
It's one of those things where eating out has become so expensive that it's hard to give places second chances. I'm going to think about this every time it comes up as a suggestion and I hate that...

I went when they first open. Things still need some fine tuning. I finally had a chance to try again at a much later day.
We had a truly enjoyable meal on the patio of this cozy spot. Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared and bursting with flavor.
• Massaman curry Jasmine Rice: A classic done right. The curry was rich but it could be richer and creamier with the perfect blend of spice and coconut, generously loaded with tofu. The jasmine rice was soft, fragrant. Might be slightly over cooked for my preference. • Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Noodles) with Edamame: The noodles were stir-fried to perfection—chewy, savory, and packed with chicken, shrimp, and crisp veggies. The edamame on the side was a pleasant surprise, sautéed with spices that added a bold, addictive crunch. The best drunken noodles I ever had. • Hamachi Kamayaki: A hidden gem! Crisped skin, juicy interior, and a smoky char that paired perfectly with the soy-based dipping sauce and fresh lettuce.
• Margarita: Bright, citrusy, and refreshing—with a fun little umbrella to match the laid-back outdoor vibe. A great pairing for the bold flavors of the food.
The service was friendly, and the outdoor setup was comfortable and breezy, perfect for a casual lunch...
Read moreI used to really like coming here. I always would get the poke bowl. The owner is a very nice guy, but to be honest they are a little over the top about always charging you. There are restaurants I go to that are out of their houses and charge the same but dont penny pinch you for sauces or extra kimchi. I asked for extra kimchi and they charged me a 1.50 extra for like 3 pieces of cabbage in a little plastic container, same with sauces. The owner told me their kimchi is very expensive. I let it go because their food was very good to me. However the last two times I went I noticed a significant decrease in portion size and quality. The second to last time - the portion size was cut in half and there was no kimchi. The last time I went it was the same and I had to ask for kimchi. I also got a little nibble of avocado and seaweed salad compared to usual. To be honest, I felt very taken advantage of. I think the pictures attached speak for themselves. The inconsistency all of a sudden surprised me, disappointed and wont come again. If it was just one time then I would have let it go, but I wasted my money two times in a row for something so different in quality as seen in the...
