Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Memphis

I waited at the drive through order box for about 5 minutes before they even acknowledged me. They finally told me they are only accepting credit cards. They seemed disappointed when I told them that was fine. Y’all I have never heard someone so distraught. This young lady was positively miserable taking my order. She had to take a deep breath before every sentence so she could sigh heavily while speaking. I couldn’t help myself and started doing it back. Anyway my food was disgusting. My chicken was soggy in one place and dried hard in others. The breading had fallen off of half of the chicken but it was so old the breading had started to stick to the chicken again in places. Like it was soggy and fell off then when it dried it dried back to it. I’m guessing that my chicken was left over from lunch. I feel like I might vomit but I hope I don’t. The RUDEST staff I’ve ever dealt with. Currently 8pm, Popeyes doesn’t close until 10pm, I’ve been sitting in the drive through long enough to finally get to the speaker . Just for our order not to be taken, so we proceed to the window assuming there’s an issue with the speaker . Get to the window , there’s no workers to be found . So we call the restaurant to have a worker answer almost immediately and proceed to walk to the drive through window while on the phone with us, while in conversation we ask are they closed because we have UberEats orders , she says yes not even knowing we are the current customers at the window . After finding out we were the callers she opens the windows , asks our orders we say one thing on the list and she says we don’t have it . Call Uber and refund the money .. The cashier, Terri, was rude and argumentative. She took my order while looking in the kitchen with her back towards me. I asked to speak to a manager I was told he was outside I went outside after waiting 10 minutes inside the building for him to come back in being that never happened I went outside to speak with him, he was nowhere in sight. I waited maybe to see the manager coming in the door he never did. I decided to call the store and the manager who never re-enter the store answer the phone. I proceeded to explain to him the situation of his cashier but notice his tone was very short at that point I realized the obvious the manager was already in the store so begin with I said thank you very much in at the call by the way his name is lavoris or something to that nature.
