Up till 3/28/25. This was the fastest, best Popeyes around for 20 miles. The speed of service was 2 or 3 minutes. The manager ran a tight ship, and I ate there every day. Monday thru Friday. Now they are just like every other Popeyes. One order at a time. When that order is complete, then they move on to the next. Slow, slow slow. The drive thru has at least a 4 car wait, and the lobby is 5 people behind. One order at a time. The last manager would multi-task 5 orders at a time. There were never over 2 cars in the drive thru, and the lobby might be 2 behind or empty. It was lightning fast. Not anymore. They seem happy with that. The atmosphere isn't the same. The employees are going thru the motions, but not as happy as they once we're. I have 30 minutes for lunch, I don't have the luxury of waiting 15 minutes to get my food. Who wants to wait 15 minutes anyway? I spent $60 a week there. I won't be going back. I'll tell my coworkers the same. You are almost in our parking lot. When something works, don't fix it. Update: I'm standing at the counter right now. There back to their old slow poke ways. One order at a time. They need the other manager back here. I've been standing here 5 minutes and they haven't even taken my order yet. I'm done with this place. I won't be back. Update: 04/23/25 I THOUGHT I'D GIVE THEM ANOTHER CHANCE. The lobby is full, people waiting on their orders. I've been here 8 minutes and they haven't taken my order. 12 minutes later, placed my order, they are OUT OF SWEET TEA. 15 minutes later I'm walking out with my order. When I get to my place of buisness, of course they forgot my side order. Imbecilic lack of any type of organization. They aren't just the slowest Popeyes in Memphis, they have the worst service as well....
Read moreThought I'll give this place another try since I really didn't have a choice being that the last time I ordered on the app they nevered received my order so instead of refunding my money all they will offer is a credit on the app which by the way you can't even use with any of the offers on the app unlike I could've if my money had been refunded instead of a credit. You can't even talk to a real person. The customer service number is automated, which will send you a text to talk to an automated text. I ordered online again. This time, I used the credit. To my surprise, they had my order this time. Unfortunately, the chicken was dryer than the Sahara, pretty much all the way through. I ordered dark meat but had a dry piece of breast in my order. Thought breast was white meat. What was supposed to be a thigh I think, couldn't really identify what part of the bird it was, looked like a piece of chicken that broke off another piece or something cause that definitely wasn't a whole thigh. Read moreI went to the Brooks location on June 30th at around 1:30 and after sitting in line for about 25 minutes I got a 3 wing dinner with Cajun rice When I got home and was looking forward to enjoying my meal I took a bite of chicken and it was not done. It was pink so I pulled a piece off another wing and it too was pink. I was so disappointed and angry because I would not go back to get into that line again and I knew that they would not take it back I ended up throwing it away and eating something else. I have gone to this location many times and this is the first time that this has happened. I hope that this virus does not cause them to rush the cooking time because this could turn into a lawsuit.
