To start with, we were greeted with a smile. We were seated immediately. There were a good amount of people in the restaurant, but it was by no means packed. I saw a steady amount of customers coming and going during our visit. The establishment is clean and smells pleasant. There was soft music playing. It was nice. The staff (including the owner) were very attentive and kind. We ordered:
Egg rolls
Gà Xào Xả Ớt lemongrass chicken
Chinese mixed vegetable with chicken stir fry
1 order of Fried chicken wings
The Pho special soup
Green beans with tofu
We are a family of 4. We had tons of leftovers.
Everything was brought out quickly. The eggrolls came 1st, and they were so tasty. 1 order of eggrolls comes with 2 eggrolls. They are crispy and flavorful. 1 order of chicken wings comes with 8 wings. The pho came next. As you can see, it is a huge bowl. It was so yummy. All the servings of food were enormous. You will be taking some food home. We were all sharing several different items we had gotten so that we had a good variety to sample. The green beans with tofu was so flavorful. The tofu was amazing and easily everyones favorite. My 1 year old ate several pieces, so don't worry about whether or not the food is kid friendly. My 10 year old ate everything pictured and enjoyed it thoroughly. For all of this, we paid $100 (after the tip). It's a very fair price considering how much food you leave with. The lemongrass chicken is spicy and yummy. I ate way too much of it. It cleared my sinuses right out. There wasn't a single thing we tried that we...
Read moreService was fast and taken with genuine enthusiasm. The owners of this place are kind and knowledgeable about the menu and don't shame you for not knowing how to pronounce certain menu items or what things are.
Food was all delicious and fresh as could be, it was all brought out as it was being made rather than all together. This is what I would consider an open table dining experience or like a make your own buffet kinda place. We ordered like 4 things and picked off of plates. Great food for adults and kids alike. My 1 yr old as particularly fond of the green bean and tofu dish.
Was built like any other whole in the wall. Not alot of decorations up definitely still feels like a work in progress as far as style is concerned. But the bones are all there for a pleasant dine in experience.
All and all. A wonderful success in my eyes. We are happy for the dine in and myself and my family will be frequent and life long customers I...

I can't think of a more heartbreaking story in the business universe.
Pho Binh, which was a local staple sold off to this place to carry on their legacy. At first they were doing a 7 out of 10 job, but they just can't seem to keep it up.
I would put good money on the problem being in the kitchen. The recipes just do not taste the same, every dish I had was under seasoned, just a pale ghost of what was once the best restaurant in Memphis. I don't think they were prepared for their kitchen staff to have the level of commitment needed to match the family that had grown pho Binh to the success that it achieved.
I keep coming back and keep trying, but every time it's more off.
RIP Pho Binh, you are...
