Cheesecake Boss Italian Pizzeria, L.L.C. — Restaurant in Memphis

Ordered to go from here. Had the buffalo chicken pizza, stuffed meat with added mushroom and the alfredo pizza. Food was hot when delivered. Food was good quality and I will order again. Kids loved the alfredo pizza. The buffalo chicken was just okay. It was simply baked chicken chunks with plain buffalo sauce on top. Nothing special but not bad. Unfortunately had so base sauce such as marinara or something else. So it was pretty dry. The meat stuffed was about the same. We added mushroom to it but were given bacon instead. Which is fine, I just assume they were out of mushroom and with doordash they add whatever the restaurant recommends. But like the buffalo chicken it has no sauce. This makes the pizza very dry. Next time I will order sauce as a dip or something. Overall it will feed the family, just nothing special. If your looking for something to really hit the spot and make a great meal. Or if you want meat and vegetables together on pizza, then look somewhere else. But if you are looking for something easy and without a lot of thought then this is the place to go. Just don't forget to order sauce to help...

These people DO NOT KNOW THE DIFFERENCE IN A STROMBOLI AND A CALZONE!!!! He said the only difference is the cheese!!! Is he insane??!! They are different breads!!! One is soft and fluffy and one is hard!!! The calzone is hard! I ordered a ham, pepperoni, and cheese Stromboli. I got a calzone. He asked me WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️ How do you run an Italian shop and NOT KNOW THE DIFFERENCE??? So he tried to get out of his ignorance by saying “you know Milanos” OH YEA I KNOW THEM WELL. He said well “das my boss”…. So I called the Manager at my Milanos and yes they know of him but he is NOT AFFILIATED WITH US! “HE IS JUST TRYING TO GET OUT OF HIS MESS UP.” I said, I know, because all I get is a Stromboli I don’t do Calzones. Then I call back “CHEESECAKE BOSS” Relay the message and he says… ma’am I have a customer “what you want”

So let’s BE CLEAR!!! I WANTED A STROMBOLI AND PAID ALMOST $11 for a calzone. He didn’t want to hear it. At the end of the day he can’t own up to a mistake and I presume because he is Mexican he has no idea about ITALIAN HISTORY OR FOOD. STROMBOLI IS NAMWD AFTER THE VOLCANO...

I would give a 5 for the slice but a 2 for my overall experience. I ordered a slice and a soda and didn't really pay attention to the price the young lady said, I just handed her a twenty. I was confused though when she only handed me back a five and some change. I got her attention and asked her how much it was and she said 14 something. I asked for a slice and a soda?? I had to get a menu and look it up and get her attention again and then explain to her that was incorrect. She didn't say anything but re-rang it up and came back with the correct price but then she still gave me the incorrect amount of change. the third time was the charm and I finally got the right amount of change back. I feel sorry for whoever had to reconcile that draw because I doubt I was the only one that got the wrong change.

The slice was excellent though and I will definitely go back for another slice and to try some more items from their menu. I will def watch what I am charged and...
