Subway — Restaurant in Memphis

I wish I could give 0 stars. This location is run by a rude man, who is obviously some relative of the franchise owner. He is allowed to insult customers and be rude with impunity. I complained to the franchise owner and was told that they knew he was ruining the business but had no control--how do you NOT have control over your business and why would you allow anyone to ruin it? I went in in 2013 and was told by this rude man that I needed lite mayo, not regular because I was too fat. I did not return for 5 years and was surprised to see that he was still working there. That time he made our sandwiches on some of the stalest bread I've ever tried to chew on. When I complained he told me if I didnt like my sandwich I could throw it away. Yes I complained to Subway and was put in touch with the franchise owner and her response was what I told you. " This is store franchisee at subway. I am sorry for your inconvenience. Those people have ruined the business and since I don’t work there I can’t offer you a free sub for replacement at that store but I have subway on corner of Appling and Dexter. 1658 Appling road. Cordova, TN 38016

You are welcome at our store. I will replace one of your sub at my subway. Once again I apologize for inconvenience. We appreciate your business."

I wont ever be returning, doubtfully to any Subway, if they allow people like this to remain employed and do not care...

Ordered online weeks ago and was called and told they were out of honey oat bread, told them that's okay sub to something different! Picked up three subs all were lacking half the ingredients and were skimpy on meat. Decided I've be going elsewhere. Today needed quick meal so ordered three subs on the app with honey oat. Picked up sandwiches and got home to all three with wrong bread. One sandwich was short on ALL ingredients! Went back and the guy had an attitude and argued that I ordered it wrong, pulled out my order and proved it was right and he said it was ordered right but didn't print right on their end. Excuses. When asked why I wasn't given the bread I ordered he told me they were out, I mentioned why they would just assume what I wanted and not call. He told me wheat was the same thing as honey oat which we KNOW is not the same. All three sandwiches were skimpy. Do not recommend this subway! Go to another one if you want it right or what...

So I visited this location on the 8-7-23 and it was within the last two hours of business, and the young man that prepared my sandwich (20's, black, heavier) took out one bread and then decided to trade for another which was not as fresh. Then he placed the roast beef on rhe bread in a manner in which the meat was so folded up or jumbled up that it didn't fill the bottom surface of the bread. Throughout the duration of this he kept on looking at me instead of focusing on the task at hand. When I began to pay the other guy that worked there, I looked back over to the original guy making my sandwich and he had literally stopped preparing it and was staring at me. He even forgot to cut my sandwich in half, I ordered a 12inch. It's OK if you find me attractive, but remember to do your job correctly. It's upsetting to get home and it's not prepared right.
