If you blink, you might miss this delightfully authentic food truck/ice cream shop located between a Loan shop* and a Liquor store. I quickly found a parking spot and upon entering the door we were greeted by colorful walls and a clean shop. My son was more interested in desserts than dinner, but we were both able to find the right snack for us. The decorative walls were actually very helpful as pictures of all the fare were clear and the staff was able to answer any questions we had. Like it's more famous neighbor down Summer Ave., Tacos Los Jarochos is now a full service paleteria y neveria. They serve the things you're used to seeing at Mexican Ice Cream Shops.
One thing we noticed that's quite different is how their Aqua Frescas are prepared. Here, at TLJ, there is no milk or cream base. It's just fruit, water, and sugar (or there about.) They have your typical flavors of Jamaica, Horchata (which of course, is rice milk based) tamarindo, and others like watermelon and cantaloupe.
