TOPS BAR-B-Q AT CORDOVA — Restaurant in Memphis

Total ripoff and horrible customer service. Previously left a good review. Food is pretty good. Service and management at Cordova location is horrible. Ate there yesterday. Ordered a bbq sandwich plate about 10:50 am. Took them 20 minutes to serve me with 2 people in the restaurant. Fast forward to today. Ordered 3 quarts of sides. Got them home and they were 16 oz. Portions not 32 oz. Called the store and got some affirmative action hire who wouldn't talk with me and put me on Perma Hold. Left the phone running 24 minutes. Apparently their method to deal with a customer who discovered their ripoff mislabeling of their products is to dump them on hold and hope they give up. I paid for three quarts of sides and got 3 pints of sides. Beware their false advertising and deceptive trade practices. See the pictures and judge for yourself. If you want to pay for a quart of beans and get a pint help yourself. These people need to get a handle on these bullshit lying practices cheating people and their sorry response to a customer who got cheated and complained. I'll never do business with such an unprincipled organization with such poor customer service again. You can clearly see from the photos that a Tops "quart" container is actually 16 ounces as evidenced by the photos. Their pint of potato salad is the same size as their so called quart contanier. This is my second time here at the Cordova location. The first order (Shame on you) was wrong, and was corrected. The second order, got home and was wrong, went all the way back (time and gas). Was treated like a criminal (a shake down for a missing sandwich). I also gave my fries back to be replaced (dry and over cooked, some extra toasty). Was asked to pull up waited 10mins. Manager came out said she put 2 sandwiches in the bag, and asked "Why didnt you bring the sandwich back?" I replied, "There was not a sandwich to bring back"...(only received the other items of 1sandwich and 5 fries)..15mins went by no one came out, backed back to the window, they looked like they had forgotten. In summary, 10mins later they came out with the sandwich but not the fries! 😑😮‍💨😵‍💫...I was defeated, and scared to eat anything at this point in the game and asked for a refund, which took another 15 mins or more. I can see why the line was wrapped around the building a week ago, and now I was in line with only one other car at 6:30pm. The person that took my order has no business working in customer service. She was very short and acted like she didn’t want to be there at all. The young lady that handed me my food was a different person and was fantastic. I got 2 jumbo pork sandwiches and they most definitely are not jumbo. They are actually smaller than the regular sandwiches at Leonard’s and Corky’s, both which are right down the street. I will just keep going to Leonard’s. They know what they are doing. Tops organization needs to make some changes already at this store or it’s not going to make it.
