I was thoroughly impressed with WeatherVane. My boyfriend & I have been craving & searching for "that place"; wanting to be blown away, no matter how simple. This place did just that. We went Saturday morning @ abt 10:30am & were told it was a 15ish minute wait. There were several open tables, so my boyfriend, who despises waiting for ANYTHING (It's a miracle he's still with me 😉) was slightly perturbed by this. I struggled through his mood, and it was definitely worth it. We got the buffet & even I am shocked with my impression of it. A buffet? Usually basic & bland. Nope, not this one! It was food that tasted as though it was made with love, which I've noticed is hard to come by lately. Service was awesome, prices were surprisingly reasonable & less than we anticipated. I am very excited to go back & try more meals & drinks. The bloodies & mimosas looked so delicious that I organized a ladies brunch for tomorrow! ☺️ Thank you WeatherVane for restoring my faith in amazing local restaurants! Edited to add - The ladies brunch was just as amazing, proving that the mimosas were just as delicious as the food ;) The regular mimosa was my favorite, but if you're feeling like trying something new, the watermelon mimosa was very light and refreshing; not an overpowering watermelon flavor, which I appreciate. Once again, I cannot say enough good things about WeatherVane & all 5 of us that tried it this past weekend, plan to patronize frequently :) Including monthly lady brunches & one where we let the guys...

We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the Weathervane! They have such amazing breakfast entrees and their breakfast buffet is great (and at a good price) too! We loved them so much we decided to use them for catering for our rehearsal dinner in August.

Pat and his family and staff were amazing hosts for our rehearsal dinner! We had only had breakfast items there before, but their catering did not disappoint. You can use their space for free if you use them for your catering, so it was nice to not have to pay for a separate rental fee and then since they were already closed at 2pm, there were no other guests at the restaurant in time for our rehearsal dinner.

The restaurant was nicely decorated for the dinner and they had a pretty little area set up for a cash bar. They were very flexible in offering the cash bar for us since we didn't want to have an open bar due to the extra cost (especially having 47 guests at our rehearsal, that would have been expensive). The food was great and the mini desserts were to die for! I had family that came in from Ohio and since they weren't sure when they would be arriving, Pat and his wife were very flexible in accommodating our additional guests. It ended up being that even more family showed up than I was even aware of and they had already had a set amount of food made for us, but they did great coming up with kids meals to extend the adult portions. Overall, they were so awesome to work with and they did a great job hosting our rehearsal...

First time there. Was told by the locals that it would be a good place for breakfast. Being from out of state, my son's and I decided to try it. We got there at 7:30 on Sunday morning when they opened. Was told that the Sunday buffet didn't start till 8 that if we wanted to have the brunch that we would have to order of wait till brunch. Since we had to be somewhere later, we decided to order. The order was placed after what we decided, and was placed at 7:40 am. At about 8:05, we were told that there was a problem and that our food was on it's way. The food arrived at our table at 8:10. My order had toast but did not arrive with the meal. I was told the toast was on its way too. About 5 minutes later, the toast arrived. We needed ketchup, but nobody came by to ask if everything was okay and nobody was around to ask. I have a feeling that this place was more concerned about getting the buffet ready than taking care of its current customers. If your more worried about the buffet, then don't open earlier for service till the buffet's open!!!! The food was the same as I could have ate anywhere else or it comes from the same processed food vender. I know it's a local favorite and that I'm going to get lambasted, but oh well. The staff was rude or seemed like they didn't seem to care...that's just my perception. I would not recommend nor would I...

Fantastic little restaurant! Was told it was one of the best breakfasts in Menasha and it lived up to the hype. It actually might not have been hyped enough. I got pancakes, hashbrowns, eggs and sausage links. All tasted amazing. The hashbrowns were hands down the best I ever had. They were just the right amount of crispy and had great flavor. The sausage links and eggs tasted great as well. The prize fighter in this round though was the pancakes. They were huge and fluffy and tasted great. Definitely one of the best pancakes I have had in Wisconsin. The staff was very friendly and very attentive to when I needed refills and to get my order. This is definitely a good place to eat when recovering from a hangover. Get here soon and get some fabulous food.

Decided to try the breakfast. Been thinking of it for a while. The breakfast buffet layout reminds me of when I was a kid! They have everything you could want! We ended up with an sunshine omlet for her and southern platter for him. Sunshine omlet: eggs were cooked to perfection. The ingredients inside were very fresh. Southern platter : biscuits and gravy were one of the top 5 in the area for me. Scrambled eggs were exactly what I needed. Sausage links were reminiscent of my childhood. The only thing lacking in my opinion was the breakfast potatos. Great texture just lacking flavor. Chocolate milk and orange juice are a must for breakfast, theirs did not disappoint. We will definitely be back! Next time I'll come extra hungry for the buffet!

The establishment is huge! The booths are extra large and super roomy. The weather related decor was simple, tactful and looked nice. Our waitress asked how we were and when we asked her she said "grumpy" 🥺 However, she was a absolute pleasure. Her service was prompt, everything was as ordered and every time she interacted with us, she left us laughing. She was a hoot! We ordered fruit, which was fresh and a bagel off the ala cart menu because our main focus was on mimosas which were delicious. IMO they could have been bigger but maybe I should drink less too. The prices were reasonable. The dishes were about $10-$14. Breakfast is served all day. The cinnamon rolls they had on display were huge and looked amazingly delicious.
