McDonald's — Restaurant in Mendota Heights

To the LOVELY shift lead / manager yesterday morning (04/02/2025 around 0750) I figured since you were so dumbfounded that when someone asks for extra caramel drizzle it meant adding into the cup before pouring the contents from the blender. I’d show you that “apparently” yes. It is a thing! When I was a crew trainer myself, it was still a thing. I didn’t pay for extra drizzle to have the tiniest squeeze in my frappe (and whether each location chooses to charge or not does vary) but yesterday, I paid & for me to go inside to ask for it to be done correctly for you to sit there & try and go back and fourth about how your location doesn’t do this, is quite comical when I went the morning prior (04/01/2025) & guess what?! It came the right way the first time 😂 so your location, does indeed do this. Just how it came out the 2nd time (shown in the middle picture with the timestamp) and truthfully, it was still a little cheap. But that’s okay. I’ll take that “extra” any day over whatever I was handed to begin with.

We’ll see how today goes. Otherwise I’ll just take my business to the McDonald’s by my job who doesn’t need me to go inside and waste time explaining what extra drizzle is 🙄 since I was told if it comes without it in the cup again it’s because like she said, they don’t do it...

I did drive up ordered my food when I asked the person for extra ketchup they simply close the window and then oh and I sat there and then he open the window and I said I need to catch up and I had to say it loud because he act like he couldn’t hear me or he couldn’t understand what I was saying, and his response was yell at me again “” The manager came and literally pushed him away from the window and told me to shut up. I don’t know about this McDonald’s. I don’t know if it’s a franchise or corporate, but either it doesn’t need to exist anymore. All I asked was for some catch-up, and I was told Yell again. When I didn’t yell just wanted some catch up and the manager there had to literally push him away. I don’t know if he had a gun on the premises or what, but he was very threatening as if he was going to do something to me. I don’t think I’ll be going to that...

Leaving the food right outside the parking. The lady doesn’t speak English well. I speak two languages so please don’t tell me this or that. I said mccrispy and fries and she thought in her mind I said sprite. The underpaid manager can’t piece this together and tells me — thats what I paid for and have a good day. Well no ish I paid for it (didn’t steal it from the window?) So . . let’s think—I’m back at the window cause the order was wrong banana. Two resolutions: would you like your money back, sir? Or give us the sprite and mccrispy and we will make you the fries and mccrispy. Say it in your head “sprite” and “fries” yikes. If you want a underpaid manager with 0 conflict resolution skills and not to mention she hid the sandwich in the back — not made me a new one — and thinks I’m going to eat it after they hid the sandwich…like I’ve never managed a bunch of...
