Taco Bell — Restaurant in Menifee

I thought that i might try Taco Bell. Never ate it before. I so regret it. I was just very hungry and have not eaten since yesterday at noon. It's alreasy 6pm now and that is my only meal for today because i was working and this is so close to the freeway. This chain in brand new looking. It is clean and the staff is friendly. So they get a star because the staff is excellent.

But the food is terrible. How can anyone eat this stuff. It's terrible looking and it has too much of everything. I tried the chalupa for the first time. The shell was a good concept. But my goodness! It was soo thick that it is almost all shell than the stuffing inside. Then the shell looks like it was cooked on the outside but when i bit into it, the center was chewy and seem like it was not cooked all the way through. And who thought off putting so much cream ? All i can taste is the cream.

I tried the 5 layer burrito. It is almost all cream and cheese. I couldn't taste anything else but the cream and the cheese.

I tried the hard shell taco. The meat was, i don't even know how to do a review on that.

If you want a tasty authentic Mexican fast food. Not Taco Bell. Just go to a little hole in the wall taco stand.

I am thinking this is the "American" version or interpretation of what Mexican food taste like? They basically just got it all wrong is the nicest way...

Stopped going to the Lake Elsinore Mission Trail location cause my power bowl barely had anything in it, burritos were sloppy and falling apart, and just all around terrible. Figured going to the Menifee Scott Rd location I wouldn't have this problem. I was soooo wrong. Just has bad. Did an app order and asked for 25 mild and 25 hot, got 0 sauce. Ordered and paid for extra rice and chicken in my power bowl, bowl barely had anything. Burritos were sloppy and missing the customization that was requested. I could go on about the issues. I feel like there is a franchisee who owns both locations and is finding ways to cut corners by having employees put less filling / food than what is required per Taco Bell headquarters. Looks like I'll be going to Taco Bell near the Ralph's...

Went to get breakfast and there was literally a spot of egg in our burritos and a few bacon bits and the burritos were all flat because there was nothing in them. Then our bacon crunch wrap literally had no egg in it and the hash brown was so full of oil the tortilla was wet. We called and spoke to the manager and he told us he’d give us our money back but we needed to bring back the food we had which we did. Maybe he should have offered to pay for our time and gas.
