Tavern Grille — Restaurant in Murrieta

I had hope this was great food and service place but was not true. I had the Flat Iron Steak platter and the steak had NO seasoning whatsoever not even Salt! I ask for medium well and it was wayyy over cooked. All I tasted was meat and overcooked meat that again had no flavor only the pan/coal flavor. The veggies with it was most likely freezer burn veggies that had neither seasoning in it. I asked other people to try it that was with me and said the same thing. The server Zach did not apologize. Took the plate and did not ask if I would like another plate or etc he grabbed the plate and walked away. I had waited for my drink to be served and saw our server on his phone then talking to someone else for a while. My fiance had to ask the bartender what is going on with my drink. She apologized and sent over the drink immediately. She was kind to us. Our waiter had no expression. Horrible experience overall. The only reason why I'm giving this two stars was because of the bartender being attentive. Otherwise I would give it 0 stars. It's regrettable with the food and service. I don't like to give bad reviews but this time is needed. Just needed curtesy and good food. They have a lot display about military/veteran stuff all over but do not offer discount apparently. Disappointed. I have receipts of what occured as well but will not post...

Nice place to grab a cold draft beer in the early evenings. Staff is very friendly and the place is kept clean. Plenty of TV screens to catch games when they are on and the digital menu is a nice touch. It also serves as an informational flyer for events, schedules and promotions. I was surprised to see they have 2 lanes of (no cost) hard-tip dart boards so that's great for the enthusiasts who prefer the precision of steel tip darts over the soft ones. Saturday nights you can find some Karaoke action with the locals which is always a gang of fun. The only downsides to the joint are no billiards tables available (But i don't play so that doesn't mater, just a heads up for those who do) and the restroom is "per person" only...so on the busier nights this can cause...

Heard that the food Tavern Grill was very good so I decided to give it a try. I've been there 5 times now with my family in the past month. Food is excellent and very well priced. So far I've tried their southwest eggrolls and French fried green beans for appetizers and their burger, club sandwich and French dip sandwich for a meal. All were large and delicious and the meals came with some of the best fries I've ever had. Portions on everything here are very generous. You will not leave hungry. Service is excellent. The staff if very tentative and the food arrives quickly. Try the southwest eggrolls and french fried green beans for appetizers. Delicious. I'm looking forward to going back and trying other the other items...
