Caribou Coffee — Restaurant in Menomonie

I love caribou coffee, don’t get me wrong. But this location I have been avoiding lately. They recently got a new barista, who doesn’t seem to know everything yet but is working alone already. This is the third time that this barista has messed up my drink, typically I get an iced campfire mocha with dark chocolate and almond milk. This particular barista keeps giving me a blended campfire mocha with milk chocolate, whipped topping, and mini marshmallows on top. It wouldn’t be that big of an issue, except I have dietary restrictions so I am not able to drink this beverage. I tried to correct her one time, but she didn’t seem to understand, so of course I am not going to say anything to this gal anymore, typically I just give my boyfriend a drink to avoid conflict. i went looking for the christmas ornaments. they come out earlier each year and i found out on my last visit to caribou that they were already out. i try to purchase 3 of each ornament and can never buy them all at one establishment. my stop at dick's was to see if i could complete the sets i needed. i found one that finished it but noticed another ornament that they only had two of. so now i will have to go to eau claire and see if i can find the needed one there at a 4th location. i didn't purchase anything to drink or eat, so i am not rating that. i did purchase some bags of coffee that i will be sending to alaska and south carolina to friends since i don't...

Caribou Coffee is a coffee shop, just like thousands of others. It is just a nook inside Dick's and only has a half dozen tables. It is convenient if you just need to rest a bit and warm up from shopping. There is no free Wi-Fi like some other places, but it is never too busy and the baristas...
