Delaney's — Restaurant in Mentor

Went for first time today around 6 pm. We sat down at a table. A male and female behind bar saw us. Never came over to us. After 10 minutes went up to bar. Kept saying excuse me, no response. Finally got female attention who had big black glasses on. I said is this self service to get waited in as we sat at table and no one approached us. Even if it is service only by going to bar one would think at least come over to tell us. Felt this very rude as we had never stepped foot in this place. We were going to try a burger. Told female this was rude no one came over. Saw us sitting there. Would have been fine if approached and told us that orders for food and drinks is by going up to bar to order. Told her we were leaving. Said she just came on duty. She was behind bar when we walked in. She said sorry you are missing a real good burger. Great little spot. Bartender was cool. Yuenling was only $2.50! So can’t beat that. Always my kinda spot. One pool table. Jukebox. Nice well lit bar. Seemed laid back enough. Chill crowd. Not trashy.
